"That must be hard on someone your age." he said.

 

"It is. I'm the only child of my family. So, everyone feels its my responsibility."

 

Aphrodite watched Artemis, excitedly.

 

Artemis just continued to shoot arrows like nothing.

 

"I see. I wish I could help." he said.

 

"I wish you could help, too." Saki sighed.

 

"If there is anything I can do, anything at all, just ask." he said.

 

"Yeah......" Saki sighed. "Hey, in a few days, my company is holding a party in honor of me being its president. Think you and your friends could come?"

 

"We would be honored to come." he said, smiling.

 

"Great!" Saki went off to tell her server to put them on the list.

 

He sat down on a couch and waited for her.

 

Saki started to walk back when she saw outside her window, something coming. She tried to run away from it, but fell as a black arrow hit the hall.

Artemis ran inside and to her. "Are you alright?" She noticed the arrow while she was out in the field.

 

Hermes ran to see what happened.

 

"Someone is trying to kill you, weird." Artemis said as she pulled the arrow out and studied it.

"It's probably one of my parents' ex-workers!" Saki said. "They always hated me as their president, for them to go this far...."

 

"Where are they?" he asked. "I'll deal with them!"

 

"Hold it there, big boy." Artemis said. "It's obvious Saki will need some guards. So, we can all handle them."

 

"Alright." he said. "I'll stay and guard her."

 

Artemis continued to study the arrow, she took her bow and shot it back out.

 

He walked over to Saki and said "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. Although, in order to protect you fully, you'll need to stay at my place and come with me to work."

 

Aphrodite came in after them. "What happened?!" She asked, frantically.
