Greek gods in modern America!

Artemis noticed Hermes making his daily deliveries. 'Why did I get this job?' she thought.

Aphrodite hurried through the flower shop, helping the customers as they came and went. This place is so busy! She thought. It wasn't surprising, though. She was excellent with nature and always gave plants the best care. She decided that she wasn't exactly good at working with other people, so she switched with some of the other workers and began watering the plants.

 

OOC: Would you mind if I joined with Hera?

 

OOC: Well, Hera is kinda always at Zeus's side and wouldn't do anything to make him angry and make her mortal, but I guess it's okay, just need an occupation for her.

BIC: He noticed Artemis and waived. He really liked his job, since it suited him well.

 

Artemis waved back and walked to her classroom. "Hello, class. Today, we're learning about the twin gods of Greece."


OCC: The subject she teaches is Mythology.

 

OOC: lol, awesome!

BIC: Hermes roamed the halls giving the teachers their mail. He stopped in Saki's current class and gave the teacher her mail.

 

OCC: I think it's kinda ironic.

Saki noticed the mailman giving the mail to her teacher and almost smiled.

 

OOC: That's why I asked first! So then what about Nike instead?

 

OOC: Okay, and what is her occupaiton, a shoe seller? XD jkjk

BIC: He looked at the class and said "Hey kids!" He waived to them and turned to leave.

OOC: Oh, Aerith, when you said that she likes him, did you mean she like likes him, or love likes him?

 

Aphrodite amiled and smelled one of the dasies. Hey, as long as it's earth, I'll be okay here... She thought and gently touched one of the tulips, remembering that she'd have to go back to Hades, soon.

OOC- I got the story correct, right? She has to live with Hades because of the fruit thing? lol I have a feeling I'm mixed up...

 

OOC: Ha, I was totally thinking that, she is an athlete(runner) and a shoe seller on the side.

 

OCC: Kinda love like, but mostly like like.

Saki blushed and sighed when she saw him leave.

~Artemis' class~

"Alright, the twin gods are called Artemis and Apollo." Artemis told her class. "And don't laugh at me because of my name. Blame my parents." 'Really.....' she thought.

 

OOC: Wrong person. Aphrodite is the goddess of love. You're thinking of Persephone.

 

OOC: I thought that was Persephone.

 

OOC- Ah, I knew I got it mixed up... lol forget I posted that, then. XD

Aphrodite gently watered all of the flowers.

 

OOC: Yup.

BIC: Hermes thought he saw one of the students blush and thought I guess one of the student's likes me. If only she knew the truth. He headed back to his mail car.

 

"Alright, class, Artemis was the goddess of the hunt, virginity, and forests. Her brother, Apollo, is the god of archery, music, and light." 'You were the lucky one, bro.....' she softly whispered, nearly breaking her chalk. 'I got stuck with hunting, virgins, and forests..... Thanks a lot, 'Dad'.'

 

Now that he was done with his route, he decided to go for a little drive.

 

"Alright, time for my next class. See you tomorrow." Artemis watched her class leave and Saki's class come in. "Today, as a special treat for some of you, we'll learn about the gods' own mailboy, Hermes."

 

Aphrodite gently kissed one of the petals on a flower as she watered them. Everyone in the store was staring at her strangely because of it, though she didn't pay them any mind. They must not know that even plants need love... She thought and smiled.
