Greek gods in modern America!

Artemis sighed. "You really are a blondie, Aphrodite. This is television, people record what happens and appears on this screen. I look pretty good."

 

"Ohh..." Aphrodite said, looking at the TV. "Hey, there's that man, again." She pointed at the man from the robbery and giggled.

 

Artemis smiled as she watched when she tossed the man to the back of the shop. The news reporter said that she was a mysterious hero who looked like the goddess Artemis. 'They don't know the half of it....'

 

Aphrodite winced, seeing Artemis throw the man. "That looks like it hurt..." She thought aloud.

 

"It probably did." The doorbell rang and Artemis picked up their food. "Food's here."

 

Aphrodite smiled. "Yay!" She said. "Whatcha order?" She asked, curiously.

 

"Some grilled hamburgers. I get something different every night." Artemis picked out of her DVD movies, placing it in the the DVD player and setting their food in front of them.

 

"Alright." he said, pouring himself a glass of wine and started eating.

 

Poseidon watched as the sun went down, laying on Dancer's back with his head up against his neck and his legs draped over his rump. He smiled and patted Dancer's side.

 

"Ohh..." Aphrodite said and smiled, looking at the DVD player. "What's that?" She asked, pointing at the DVD player.

 

"It's a DVD player. It can play movies. I put in one of my favorites, The Princess Bride." Artemis started the movie.

 

"Ah, okay..." She said.

 

Artemis started to eat, 'Wonder how Saki is doing?' She watched as the movie came to the part of the Princess' kidnapping.

Saki started to eat her food. She smiled.

 

Aphrodite began to eat her food, too, and she watched the movie.

 

"Hey, Aphrodite, you don't mind soda to drink, do you?" Artemis asked.

 

Aphrodite shook her head. "I don't mind," She said and smiled.

 

Artemis stood up and went to her kitchen. She pulled two Sprite cans out and came back. "This part is my favorite part of the movie." She opened her can and drank as the fight scene started.

"Thanks," Aphrodite said as she took the sprite and looked back at the screen. She watched the fight scene, amazed. "Isn't that... a little violent?" She asked.

 

"Don't worry, there is no blood." Artemis smiled as she mouthed the comment, 'I'm not left-handed.'

 

"Yeah, but still..." She let her voice trail off as she looked back at the screen. Fighting's wrong... Although that's what Artemis is all about... She thought and smiled.
