Greek gods in modern America!

"Ohh..." Aphrodite said, looking up at the house. She smiled and got off of the motorcycle, taking off the helmet.

 

Artemis took off and walked up to the door. "It's not much, but it's home."

 

Aphrodite quickly followed after Artemis.

 

She pulled out a first-aid kit from her closet and sat down. "Let me see the wound, Aphrodite."

 

Aphrodite lifted up her shirt a little and winced. There was a wound on her stomach from where the man had hit her with the gun.

 

Artemis wrapped her stomach with a baggage. "I heard some mortal say blonds are not too smart. I guess you're a blond in this world." She sighed.

 

"A blonde?" Aphrodite asked, tilting her head. "What makes you think that?"

 

"Didn't you see many people were scared during that robbery? You just stepped in there, not knowing there was a armed man in there." Artemis soaked some cloth in a bowl of warm water and gently rubbed it over her wound.

 

Aphrodite winced when she rubbed the cloth over her wound. "Well someone had to ask him to stop scaring people... Besides, I was curious. I've never seen that thing he was holding, before." She explained.

 

Artemis sighed. "Guess it was a good thing I stepped in when I did. You could have been more hurt than you are now." She tied the bandage around Aphrodite's stomach and smiled. "You should stay grounded for a few days while it heals."

 

"Sorry..." Aphrodite apologized and rubbed the back of her head. She pulled her shirt back down over the bandages. "Thanks, Artemis!" She said and kissed her on the cheek, smiling. That would've been strange for any of the humans on earth, but it was normal for Aphrodite. It was how she thanked people or said goodbye.

 

Artemis rubbed her cheek. "No problem, sis."

 

"So what do ya wanna do, now?" Aphrodite asked, smiling.

 

"Want to eat take-out?" Artemis picked up her phone.

 

Aphrodite shrugged and smiled. "Okay!" She said, happily.

 

Artemis dialed the number of her favorite place and ordered two meals for delivery.

 

Aphrodite sat down, cross-legged, watching Artemis.

BIC: Poseidon laid his hand on Dancer's poll.
"Ok, wanna go for a ride? Come on."
Dancer snorted and pawed the ground, stretching out his shoulder so that Poseidon could leap nimbly onto his bare back. He preferred to ride without a bridle or saddle, believing that it just hindered the horse and rider relationship.

 

Artemis sighed and sat down, turning her flat-screen TV on. The news were on and was talking about her and Aphrodite during the robbery.

 

Aphrodite looked at the TV and blinked, surprised. "How did we get in that little box with all of those people...?" She asked.
