Gone forever

Nox was done with his check up and went back to the library.

 

Kanaye tilted his head. He heard someone coming down the hall. Quickly, he ran up the stairs and out the door back onto the roof. He sighed as a cool wind hit his face. I gotta get out of here...

 

She looked at Angel, "Huh?" then she shrugged.

 

Why would he want to leave? Angel tried to think from a different perspective. Of someone who might want to elave the facility. Like one of the troublemakers. The ones that show emotion and don't take life seriously. Why would he want to leave?......maybe....the rules are too strict?.....he's tired of not showing any emotions?.....he feels trapped?....all are possibilities..... She didn't pay any attention to Lina at all while she was thinking all this.

 

Kanaye sat on the edge of the roof, staring out past the city, to the mountains' silhouettes in the moonlight. He ran his hand through his hair. "There's more out there," he said softly to himself. "I know there is...Maybe those Rebels are really onto something..."

 

Mountains.........I thought everything would be desert.....but okay......

 

OOC: Um...there can be mountains in a desert...I think...I saw mountains when I went through Mojave!

 

Really?....I saw desert.....and rocks.....and some mountains.....okay..cool.....I thought you were talking about a snowy mountain.

 

Lina laughed.

 

OOC: Yeah, like those grassy mountains. I dunno, mountains just add to the suspense. :3

 

When Lina laughed she was snapped out of her thoughts. Angel simply stared at her.

OOC-...hmm.....yeah....mountains....though...I kind of sort of count them as really big rocks but cool.

 

"I'm probably dead if I'm caught out here..." Kanaye mused to himself. "Whatever. Anything I do is essentially a death sentence." He flopped down backwards onto the roof, his hands behind his head. "Sure beats training..."

 

One who shows such spirit doesn't belong in a place like this....

 

She clamped her hand over her mouth, "Did I do that out loud?" then smiled, "I'm sorry" I wonder what it would be like outside of here.

 

"Y'know...I bet she wants to get out, too..." Kanaye said, talking about Angel. "I could see it in her eyes..."

 

".......no use apologizing for something as trivial as laughing....though I am wondering....why?" This girl truly is a curiosity...

 

" I don't know, since we all are supposed to be emotionless robots or something. Which is why I'm usually get in trouble...."

 

Kanaye's eyes half-closed. It was peaceful up here. What I wouldn't give just to stay up here... he thought.

 

"....so I've seen....so...tell me.....do you like being here?" Maybe this would help me with figuring that guy out....

 

Lina looked at Angel, "Not really. Do you?"
