Right. So...when my mom told me I had to go to the doctor's today for an annual check up, the first question I asked was, "Do I need to get a shot?"
She said no.

When we get to the office, my doctor goes, "Okay, so today you only need one shot. But we can add this extra vaccination, if you'd like."

My heart rate pretty much went through the roof then.

My mom says, "Sure."
Then we learn that I'll have to go back four months and then six months from now to get follow ups to it.
At this point, I'm hysterical.

The nurse comes in, I'm hyperventilating and kinda crying, and then she gives the usual "this won't hurt" speech, and of course it hurts.
Then the second shot came. And I will not even describe how much it hurt. Imaging taking a small knife, jamming it in your arm, and turning it a bit. That's what it felt like.

So now I can't really move my arms because they hurt. I'm also starting to feel sick from the shot, and I will add this bit of conversation just to show you how insane I was before the nurse came in.

I've always hated shots though. Needles in general.

I know exactly what shot you're talking about. (at least I think I do) Since you have to keep going back and getting shots, it sucks.

And sorry to hear about the needles. I'm not too fond of them either.

 

Shots aren't that bad. I took 4 shots straight the last time my parents took me for check up, due to those Hepatitis, Tetanus awareness thing. The only palce where shots hurt the most is the upper part of the elbow, you know, the part when you can see it bend (Don't really know what to call it). The shoulder isn't at all, painful, it just goes numb afterwards and you feel slight pain. Oh yeah and getting injecting from the hands hurts a bit too (I got injected in the hands when I was in 3rd grade due to gasthrointeritis).

I don't really like getting shots, but really, when you get the shots, don't resist....trust me, I did in 3rd grade, and it took the doctor 5 minutes before he actually got it right through my veins.

 

If u don't want your shots i'll take em for you, don't ask why but i love the feeling of a shot it's almost soothing XD

Well...it hurts a lot probably because of the shots I had to get.

And the fact that my mom was like, "SURE! GIVE HER THE OTHER SHOT!" even though I was shaking my head and pleading no kinda made it worse. >_>
She took me to Borders afterwards, though. xD

This doesn't exactly make me feel good, either... I have to get a vaccination shot before I can go to the next grade, and I'm scared out of my mind... You know, I actually told a doctor I hate him once... He gave me a shot or something and I shouted "I hate you!" really loud and started crying... lol XD

Ugh, I hate that.
I had to go the the doctors this one time.
I hadn't been afraid of shots then...
The lady was SUPPOSED to go "okay, this'll hurt a little bit.." And then give me the shot...
But she stabbed the needle in my arm when I wasn't looking and THEN said it may hurt a little bit.
T-T I hate shots now. ​
