No. I prefer not to keep track of the day/hour/minute/second that I go steady with the girl. Rather just the month is fine. And I also wait until she is ready. If she jumps right in during the first few weeks, I break up as she's obviously only in it for the Full Monty.

If she waits a year little to no signs of need for it and then is okay with it when I ask, then it's better.
