Well it seemed there was big fights all around the major players that kind of left him out of things. As much as that sucked there was plenty of lesser solders causing problems that he needed to deal with. He rode his black stallion into the middle of the battle, lance in hand. He was taking advantage of the charge attack while destroying the people around. Hammers were falling left and right at his hands. Some seemed to write him off for not being in the middle of everything, but he was doing something far better in a way and keeping things off everyone else in their major battles. He wished he could do more, but being a mounted combat type it wasn't good for close quarters with both allies and enemies around. He needed to be just among his enemies, striking fear into them.

“Good thing you’re here,” the officer in charge at the encampment replied to Ashleigh, “the enemy hasn’t acted since we took Sky Tower. Not entirely sure of their numbers, but nothing significant. However, we may want to hurry with our attack. Reports coming in from the tower that an enemy shuttle slipped under the AA gun, heading in this direction. Most likely with reinforcements.”

The trip to the healer’s was finished, and Jayce felt… marginally better. True, the slash across his chest was now sealed (and would hopefully remain as such). Yet the pain lingered, a bitter reminder of his clash with the Ancient God. He was back in his room now. His bed remained made, as his eyes flickered across the reports being sent directly to him. Kalak and his forces had just engaged the prisoner transport, and Ashleigh would soon engage the enemy stationed at the encampment. Things were proceeding as planned.

"Captain, do we have a lead on the base yet?" Jayce asked into his communicator.

"Negative sir, but we're working on it. If The Shards get the crystal, we'll be able to track the circle."

    Speaking of the crystal...

"I want half of our uninjured guards stationed at vital areas. We are not having anyone else steal items from my ship. Are we clear?"

    "Understood."

It wasn't very long after firing his projectile attack that Reitan increased the speed in which he was running towards Teliana at. Her current weapon of choice caught his attention, especially when it shifted forms into a shield in order to defend against his attack. This being the case, he didn't plan on using another projectile attack on her, especially since he would have Carrisa as support for this fight. Instead he would stick to his strengths, most of which were in close range combat. The gap between himself and Teliana had closed enough to where she would just barely be within reach of his lance. The hand that held the lance was pulled back as Reitan prepared to strike. Two steps later and the arm that was pulled back was pushed forward, aimed right for Teliana.

The demigod was swinging his sword towards Kala when suddenly a massive metal fist grabbed his arm and stopped him mid-swing. There was a pause then a polite yet indignant mechanical voice spoke to him
"How dare you?" Timothy said shocked. "See what I mean, Ms Kala? People are so rude" he said to his mistress, before squeezing the demigod's arm like a vice and swinging his fist, aimed straight at the man's face.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Ashleigh steepled her fingers and peered over them with narrowed eyes.
"I see. We need to move fast then. How are their defenses? Do you have a map of the basic layout of their camp?" She asked the men "Right now my plan is to enter under the guise of a diplomatic mission, while the brunt of our army stays outside their walls. Veera can inflitrate and help get the army in while they're distracted with me. I'll bring the Knighthawks who can defend me if anything goes wrong. Any questions?"

"Yes, two questions" Ran stated "1) Got any missions for me? 2)... Did I hear you had an Ancient God?"

"WHY?" Teliana screamed, throwing herself to the side as the infuriating woman fired two more crossbows at him. She didn't move quick enough, one of the missiles slicing open her arm. "Get HIM! He's the demi god!" She pointed at Kalak before whipping her arm in front to block the lance strike, her arms shaking with effort. If this kept up, she was going to have to use her eyes just to try and escape, since Kalak, (here she wasted a few seconds to glare at the man who was totally not backing her up), before swinging her arm up, leaning back to force the lance up and away from her vital organs.

"You really should go get him." She told
Reitan, the blood from her gash dripping down her arm to join the already formed sword. Her arm began to shake, and she broke the stalemate, swinging towards Reitan's side as she jumped back. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she darted around to his side, her sword swinging in a curve as she moved towards his (mostly) undefended back. She hadn't forgotten the archer, after all.

Veera frowned as Alpha hissed. "You want us to work alone?" She confirmed with Ashleigh, her brow furrowing. While Veera wasn't against that course of action, if she was to sneak an entire army in, it would be nice to know her back was at least somewhat guarded by something other then amateurs.
She sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
Ashleigh needed to make up her mind. First she was saying she couldn't trust Veera, and needed to keep an eye on her to reign in the woman's temper, but now she was cutting her loose? It made her head hurt and Alpha snarl.

"Why do we deal with them?" Kala replied to Timothy, her tone teasing but her eyes bright as she watched the robot attack her own attacker. Something about him....it made the darkness in her head purr with desire. It wasn't the same feeling as she had felt, gazing upon Zahariel, but it was similar. A little dimmer, maybe.

"I think..." She licked her lips, blinking quickly. "I feel hungry." The feeling grew with intensity as she darted towards the
man, reaching for his shoulder. She wanted to taste what his life felt like.

Well it would appear that his opponent this time around wasn't so fond of her current situation. When she mentioned the demi god, Reitan mind quickly went to the only other demi gods he's fought. Naturally he wanted to fight him once more, but someone had to support Carissa in this fight, so there wasn't much he could do. Well that and he'd likely get an earful from Carissa if he just up and left to fight someone else and he really didn't want that. "As much as I want to, my hands are kinda tied." When the stalemate between the two had ended and Teliana went in for the attack to his side, Reitan spun on his heels in order to move the targeted area out of her reach as well as use his lance to parry her attack.

A Demi-God? I need to find them, quickly. Carissa fired off a pair of shots and called out to Reitan.
"You can handle her can't you?" She knew what he was going to say anyway, so she wasted no time in rushing away, loading her crossbow as she ran. She didn't want to use another Immuno-Collapse quite yet - She had to get to grips with her enemy first.

Kalak grunted as he felt the robot grasp his arm. It seemed that he was going to protect the woman, who was now coming for him. The situation was bad, but it wasn't impossible. Regrettable as it was, it was time to let Vasher out to play again, though it was probably best not to hand himself over to the darkness again. The quieter light side of the spirit inside him swelled, exulting in its release again and the Demi-God allowed himself to be overtaken by the spirit. He saw the punch coming in, appraising the situation with a quick, cool glance and twisted, the metal fist sailing past his head. The Demi-God grabbed two of the large fingers that enclosed his hand and pushed as hard as he could, just about managing to prise them away. He jumped, planting his feet against Timothy and pushing off as hard as he could. With its grip reduced, the construct had no choice but to release him and he flew backwards a couple of meters on to the floor. He got to his feet quickly and hefted Duskfall, considering his tactical situation. He could see that the woman who wanted to consume him was coming, the robot would be following suit and he'd wager that he would be flanked. He took a quick glance behind him and saw someone lining up a shot and jumped aside.

"Damn it!" Carissa exclaimed, seeing her prey move aside. It was the one she saw at the tower, who had gone berserk on the soldier outside. Luckily the monster never made it inside, otherwise escaping might have been even harder than she originally anticipated. She reloaded and the Demi God adopted a defensive stance, watching the three of them intently. What's he waiting for?

"Yes, I believe we have something for you. And secondly, yes we do. His name is Zahariel, he's one of our irregulars." The Captain explained. "He has been deployed on a mission but he should return soon." He looked at the thief.
"You have already got into and out of the Valiant. If possible, could you get back in? This time, we need data from their database." He slid over what looked like a portable digital storage device with a jack to connect into some sort of larger system attached. "Simple; Get inside and gather what we need. And since you seem to want money, feel free to grab whatever you want from it. In fact, we encourage it."

The shuttle bearing Zahariel and his men, David and Varraki soon arrived, touching down on the landing circle that they had made space for in the camp. A lieutenant, flanked by two corporals who were seemingly his bodyguard, met them as they landed.
"Welcome sirs. My name is Lieutenant Corenna. We were given word of your arrival." He gave them a collective salute. "We have received intelligence that an attack is coming within the next two days. We have orders to allow you to attend to the defence of this camp. We are at your command."

The flight towards the encampment went off without a hitch. When they landed the God gave a few quick gestures to the members of the Ironwing, and told Varraki to come with him. "Well met Lieutenant Corenna." Zahariel said, not returning the salute. For two reasons, first and foremost because of battlefield protocol, second he wasn't an army officer strictly speaking. "What preperations were made, Lieutenant?" He asked "Give me the details of your positions, as for the permission to attend the defence of your camp, you insult me with such a remark, I don't need your permission" The Ancient God adressed the Lieutenant. "Now tell me, what intel do we have on their strengths and what can you tell me about the terrain?" He hoped this commander was atleast semi-decent at his job and could provide him with more information to mount the defence, holding static positions was hard enough, but he trusted in his Ironwing to hold together the other soldiers as their lines would be tested.

While battles were raging on around him, Aster had to find a place that was less crowded with his own people to fight. Mounted warfare could be dangerous at times. He didn't want to trample his own team. Though by doing this it left him without any character interaction, so hopefully the battle would be over soon. He was indeed doing his part to kill soldiers and take them down, with minimal injuries to his horse. He himself got hit a couple times but nothing so major that he couldn't still fight. As Aster rode and fought he kept an eye on the demi-god. If he could draw him out then that would be a fun time, that was if Carissa wouldn't rip his head off for stealing her kill. She was known for hunting the demi-gods after all. However for the time being he would keep focused on his own battle, no matter how boring it was turning out to be for him.

"Their defences aren't much to look at," the soldier informed Ashleigh, "some wooden walls and a few barricades. However they're positioned on top of a hill, with the remains of destroyed vessels littering the battlefield. And nay, we don't have a map of the camp."

Upon hearing about the idea of a diplomatic mission however, the soldier froze in place.

"M-my lady, I must insist otherwise. It is highly unlikely the heretics will accept to meet with you. Even with the Knighthawks, you will be at a great risk... if you must go ahead with this idea, at the very least let me send some guards with you."

"Commander! Commander Reaver! Please come in!"

Something told Jayce that the man on the radio required some help. He wasn't sure why. Perhaps it was the sound of explosions and gunfire ringing in the distance. Possibly the screams of people getting ripped to pieces. Either way, he was most likely going to have to do something about it. He tapped on his wrist communicator.

    "What's going on soldier?"

"It's a trap! The prison transport... it's being protected by the Shards' best forces! We need backup, and now!"

Damn it. If Kalak, David and I've totally got a date couldn't handle it, then the situation was worse than he'd imagined. Jaden had played a careful hand. If he'd outmaneuvered them here, then he'd surely have his fingers in other pies too. Most likely at the Shard encampment. He brought the communicator up to his mouth once again, his fist clenched once more.

"Ashleigh, Veera, be very careful. The prison transport's turned into a bloodbath. Watch out for any traps Jaden might have lain in your neck of the woods. I'm gonna go help Kalak before it's too late."

Jayce set off for the shuttles, a thin trail of blood running down his hand.

Kala stared as the man twisted Timothy's fingers to the point of nearly breaking. "Mine." She whispered, her nails growing longer. "Mine!" Her pupils began to leak into her irises, turning them black. "Mine." She hissed as she crouched, her hands brushing against the ground before resting there, the fingers elongated, the joints crackling as they shifted. Kala felt no pain, however. All she felt was cold rage.

    "Mine!" She screeched, leaping towards
Kalak with her arms outstretched, black irises full of hate and mouth opened wide in a nearly silent scream.

"Oh my!" Timothy exclaimed as Kalak deftly escaped the situation. Kala was screeching towards the demigod, but Timothy knew that wasn't a good idea. He seemed to be standing defensively, he probably had some trick up his sleeve "Be careful Ms Kala!" Timothy's pneumatic limbs started up and he began to join Kala in her charge against the demigod, but approaching from a different direction.

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Ashleigh considered this "Hmm. Perhaps you are right. If we knew more about the layout of their camp I would have gone with that plan, but as it is we have no idea what's in there. Hmm. In that case, ready the troops, we;re going to send the army on the march. Let's give them no time for preparations" Ashleigh walked away and climbed atop her horse, Symphony. "We will not be working alone after all Veera"

Ran's eyes sparkled "That sounds good. I do like money" he replied enigmatically "So what do you need? And if you want me back there I'll need kit. Good kit. I only got in last time from sheer luck"

"Well how about we change that metaphor into reality?" Ana suggested, smashing her sword against Reitan's lance. She raised an eyebrow as her eyes lifted to his, and then she smiled. "I'm sure I could find a way to make it worth your while." She pressed up against the lance, her shirt clinging to her body in a rather revealing way, allowing only the top of her chest to show. The rest was up to Reitan's imagination. "We could just part ways amicably. I could use a rest, and you could help your friend. Say you defeated me. No one needs to know." Her voice dropped to a whisper as the blood sword disappeared in the blink of an eye and she grabbed Reitan's lance, her fingers brushing his.

Veera watched Ashleigh mount her horse before drifting to her side. "For now." She responded, eyes staring straight ahead. She didn't look for Requiem or Anthem, knowing they wouldn't be far behind. Just like a faithful dog. Maybe you'll be asked to smell out the enemy as well. Veera ignored Alpha, though her eyes flicked unintentionally to Ashleigh, wondering if the demi god would ask her such a thing.

Kala heard Timothy's voice, but her rational side urged her on with the darker side. It was a new feeling; acceptance. You can do this. The kind voice whispered in her mind. Protect your friend. You can do this. She landed on the ground in front of Kalak before reaching for his arm, intending to disembowel him. Her rational mind protested, quietly, that she didn't know what that meant. The darker side responded that she would soon see.

Now for someone such as Reitan, who due to his upbringing, wasn't the best at recognizing emotions. Thus Teliana's actions had left him quite confused. From the disappearance of her weapon, to her moving closer to him unarmed and her lowering her voice to a whisper, Reitan wasn't sure just what her plan was. While that was the case he feel something despite the lack of knowing what was going on. It was almost as if a part of him that he wasn't completely familiar with was trying to tell him how to react to this.

By offering a chance to fight Kalak again, as well as whatever else she was doing that part of him still wasn't sure what was going on, it wasn't that hard, nor did it take that long for him to come to a decision. Thus he backed away from Teliana and lowered his lance.
"If you say so." Pretty much agreeing to her terms, Reitan started to turn towards where Carissa had gone. In the process he'd caught a glimpse of Teliana's chest which caused his cheek to faintly flush. Not sure why that had happened, but the lancer wasn't sure why a lot of things were happening at the moment and he would be there awhile if he tried to stand there adn figure it all out. Thus once his back was facing Teliana, he ran towards the others.

Teliana smirked as Reitan wandered away. The wonders of having a beautifully sculpted chest. She skirted the edge of battle, hoping that Kalak was enough to keep them occupied as she turned and darted towards the troop transports in the middle. Along the way, her blood shot out of her hand, forming a lance somewhat similar to Reitain's as she stabbed a soldier through the stomach, whirling it to cut another's throat before continuing on. Her legs were trembling by the time she arrived in the middle of the madness, but she was smiling. It had to be one of the bigger three, and of those three, only one had a door open and was clearly empty.

She turned to the other two, and approached the one in the middle. So I'm in the middle of the middle? She shook her head and opened the door, peering inside. "
Rose?" She whispered, sweat and blood caking her hair and her face. "Please say I made a good but obvious choice and you're in this one?"

Carissa saw Kala shifting into something else entirely and her eyes opened wide in surprise. She hadn't known what to expect from the woman, and it wasn't much considering her earlier displays. Apparently Jaden had good instincts, better than she knew. He obviously saw into her hidden talent. She had changed into some kind of monstrous creature and was racing towards the Demi-God. The robot that followed her around was rushing him from another side, so she loaded her crossbow again and let a magic suppression bolt loose.

The spirit of Vasher saw all three things happening through Kalak's eyes and made his move. He spun sideways, sweeping Duskfall around as he did to deter anyone trying to get close to him and ran towards the side of the transport again. He jumped up with the Demi-God's Divine agility and flicked his hand, channelling the spirit's naturally familiar powers. It coursed through Kalak and the soul of Kalak, now pushed deeper into his body felt part of him slipping away again. A shadowy black disc appeared in mid-air and flew straight for Kala and then for Timothy, circling round to Carissa and finally Reitan as he swung into view. Alarmed at his appearance as he assumed it meant Teliana's defeat, he jumped off the transport. No sign of her there. He did see her one transport along, opening. Looking for Rose. Good.

Carissa saw the black disc whirling towards her and she tried to dodge. The disc caught her in the side and she clasped her wound, getting up from the ground on to one knee. She gestured angrily for the others to go after him, gritting her teeth.
"Damn you Demi-God. You shouldn't have instincts acting that fast..." She cursed.

"We have orders. Shut up prisoner." The soldiers spoke as Rose taunted them to go outside. Unless someone called for their assistance, they had orders to guard her at all costs. It was essential to the Inheritor's plans, they were told, so they would stick to it. He was their leader, and he knew what was best. A few minutes later, from outside with the sounds of battle raging around, the door swung open. The soldiers who had waited for this moment sprang to their feet and opened fire, except one at the front who opened the other door to give them a clearer line of fire. Once it was open, he too let loose a hail of gunfire at the person who had opened the door, seemingly one lone woman with a death wish.

"Well my lord, we have two artillery pieces available and a single anti-aircraft gun. Besides that, we have five mounted machine gun emplacements that can be positioned anywhere along the wall. And we have our detachment of one hundred staff on site. Eighty dedicated soldiers, the rest are assorted officers and engineers. " He recoiled at the vehemence of Zahariel's response to his statement of what his orders were. He gulped. Apparently Lord Zahariel was not one of the nicer NCOs in the army. He continued speaking. "As you can see, we are on top of the hill and we have these defensive walls to help repel an attack. The gun has so far managed to shoot down a few of the Order's ships passing through the area, and their wreckage dots the area around. Perhaps a mile away there are a set of hills, and we suspect that is where they may approach from as it provides the best cover." He looked down nervously. He really didn't want to mention the next bit.
"And sir... We have no idea what is coming. The Inheritor sent you- Asked you to come here to protect us from an incoming attack." He got the impression that this was the kind of person who didn't like the idea of having people higher up than him. So, he was going to work with it. He'd rather that than the potential alternative.

Teliana couldn't help but shriek as she was met with, instead of Rose's not so friendly face, a hail of gunfire. She shoved her open palm out in front of her, creating the blood shield to stop most of them from hitting her. The spray was too severe to create a large enough space to cover her entire body, and she winced as a few grazed her legs before dropping to her knees, the rest of her hoping the shield would hold. AK-47's, by the sound of the rapid fire. Thirty bullets per round. Roughly seven guns. So....

She gritted her teeth as her concentration wavered and a bullet made it through, lodging in her right side. She focused the rest of her attention on the shield, keeping it up until the gunfire finally died. And then footsteps. Hold it together, Ana. Just a little longer. She let the field drop, and looked up as the first soldier approached her. Her decolletage was in danger of revealing itself much as her chest heaved with effort.

"Well hello boys." She purred, her arms shaking. "It's been a while since I've had three of you to myself." The blade shot out from her hand, glistening in the dim light. "I like it this way. I don't have to share." She darted forward, sword swiping in to cut the man through the belly. She disemboweled him quickly before turning to the one on the left (god she hated the left) and tackling him just as he pointed the gun at her face. It discharged, the bullet shooting through her left arm in a spray of blood. She gritted her teeth and turned the gun on the man, blasting him through the chin and watching his brains spatter the floor before rolling, her sword flashing to a lance as the other man turned his gun on her. She stabbed him through the throat before he could do serious harm, though her leg was burning. She didn't dare look at the injury as she stumbled to her feet, panting.

    "Who's next?"

"Well well aren't we grumpy. I suppose if we are just sitting here doing nothing, I will take a nap." Rose stated as she leaned her head against the wall and shut her eyes, letting the sound of battle lull her to sleep. She nearly had fallen asleep as well when the door to her transport vehicle opened and a friendly face appeared. The shots started to fire at Ana and Rose couldn't do anything to stop them. She could only sit there and watch. It was kind of funny to watch how she stopped the bullets, however that didn't mean that Ana got out unscathed. A smirk spread to Rose's face as she watched Ana take out the guards. "And you really thought you could get away with holding me here didn't you. Think again." Rose told the guards. If their attention was on her for that split second of time, it would be enough for Ana to take out the rest of the guards. It was clear the girl would only hold up for so much longer, then chances are that she would pass out. The injuries she had sustained seemed pretty major and she was showing at least if not more skin than Rose herself through torn clothing. And though she was thankful to see Ana, she wasn't going to say as much. She showed signs of entertainment from Ana's murder spree but no gratitude. That would be like an open invitation for the girl to try to make friends with her, something Rose did not want.

It wasn't all that long before Reitan was running at full sprint towards the battle against Kalak. Getting halfway there he saw a black disc flying towards him. Reitan quickly side stepped the disc, but it still had managed to nick his side. Fortunately it wasn't enough to hinder his progress. Closer and closer he got before finally he stuck his lance in the ground and used it to pole vault into the air. His trusted lance never left his hands as it was pulled into the air with him. With a quick twirl he aimed the point down towards Kalak. Imperial Lance First Stance - Amaterasu. The point was engulfed in flames as Reitan struck down towards the demi-god.

"Good, get them manned and properly adjusted." The Ancient God said "As for the machine guns, I want two teams of two have them work in a proper teams one firing one standby, unless they truly start pushing, they are not to fire simultaneously so continuous fire can be achieved. I want one team on that wall directed to the hills, the other on standby for deployment. Deploy the men around the perimeter, schwerpunkt at the quadrant with the hills, looser deployments around. Varraki, find yourself a good spot. Spread the engineers and officers evenly, have the officers ditch anything that gives away their rank. Iron wing, deploy to your positions, David, go make yourself bloody useful." Zahariel ordered the people around, he himself would find a good spot to oversee the battle and give additional orders if need be, his voice would help with this a lot. The Ironwing deployed to their designated positions with the LMG's on the outer sides of the hill quadrant, LAW in the middle between them, rifles at even distances dividing the camp into quadrants between them.

The Andaran Prince listened attentively as the Ancient God quickly dished out orders, he had been given some leniency as to where he would be position while on top of the wall would be a nice place as a vantage point but it would be so obvious, and while there was wreckage outside the perimeter it was too far out to make a good position with enough options to run if need be. Instead he found himself a position near one of the barricades, by the hill quadrant already watching like a silent sentinel ready to strike down those who he saw.
