Casey had reappeared inside the grounds of the old fashioned manor house that they had arranged to have the wedding and reception in, he was currently bugging his mother who had been there for quite some time.

Conni however was not in the slightest bit amused by Casey's antics. She was trying her hardest to bat him away like one would bat away a fly or mosquito and carry on the conversation she was having with her oldest daughter.

 

"Dad....leave her alone"Mickey said"see what i mean by being 5."

 

"Oh you shush." Casey said as he looked away from his mother and towards his son. However, the glance was badly timed as it resulted in him being shoved into a nearby bush.

Conni, oblivious to the fact Casey was no longer actively trying to irritate her, contined to try and bat him away. Managing to smack him in the temple on the left hand side of his head with the base of her palm, resulting in the hilarity of Casey flailing dramatically as he tried to keep his balance and, of course, failing to do so.

At the sight of her dearest, darling older brother embarrassing himself in front of the entire family Elle cackled in delight. Not only had her brother made a prat out of himself by being knocked down by his fifty-something year old mother but she'd had a front row seat to his humiliation.

 

Mickey face palmed"we might need to tie you down or something dad..."

"Casey....what've you done to yourself now?"

 

"I did nothing, it was all the old woman!" Casey whined as he struggled his way out of the bush. However he had to quickly duck back into the bush to avoid a clip around the back of the head. "Alright! Sorry! You're not old!" He exclaimed.

"Good boy." Conni smirked.

 

"Casey when are you gonna learn bugging people only gets you hurt?"Lyra said making her way over

 

"Eventually." He grinned, finally emerging from the plant.

"We should probably get sat down you know."

 

she smiled"your right..."she turned to her son and tutted"look at your hair...i told you to stay nice."she went to fix his hair,but he dodged out the way.

"Mum...i can do it myself you know...go sit down already...or do you need tied up too?"

 

Conni, along with her daughter and youngest son made their way over to the seats that were laid out on the lawn in front of a large, sparkling lake.

Elle say down with her oldest daughter, Jamei, and niece Immy near the front of the rows of chairs.

 

"He's not kidding about tieing people down Auntie Ly."Ronan joked

"Fine."Lyra said "Oh you look so grown up!"


"Mum...i am."

 

"He is twenty three you know." Casey chuckled. "And getting married today at that."

"Too someone, might I say, who is pretty damn hot." Ben said with a slightly shifty expression.

"Ben!" Elle exclaimed, facepalming hard.

"What? She's not that much younger then me you know." He said indignantly. "Smaller age gap then between you and your husband."
