Wolfe nodded. "God... I can imagine." she giggled slightly. "where is lyra, anywhoo?"

 

"Are you now?" Lake asked with a smile, playing along with Esmya's excitement. "And where is your little brother or sister?"

"Not too sure, she's either around the house somewhere or out somewhere. I've only just got back from work really."

 

"Mummy hasnt had the baby yet, but she says i can pick the name when it comes!"she beamed

"Really now?"he grinned looking up at maddie

"not really..."she mouthed"yeah...thats right Mya..."she smiled

Lyra opened the back door and came in

 

"ew...work..." wolfe smirked. "How do you put up with work? I find being around such people extrememly irritating." she smiled, laughing a little. "Do you know where ronan is?" she asked, sighing.

 

"Well I work in a hospital, so it's usually quite interesting. Never the same day twice really." He chuckled. "And no, sorry. I expect he'll appear at some point, seems everyone does eventually."

"Oooh." Lake said sounding interested. "That's a big job for you, any ideas on names?" She giggled.

 

she nodded"I said name him after one of our uncles then i said daddy's name...."she said "But mummy doesnt know..."

 

"Yeah..." wolfe nodded, smiling still. "He seems to be the only human I can tolerate, actually." Her smile grew weaker as she slid off the table and stretched.

 

"Sounds like you two are getting along rather well." Casey chuckled.

"It might be a little confusing if your little brother has the same name as your Daddy though. So you can kinda see her point." Lake giggled.

 

"But he wouldnt be called Antony,only when he's in trouble"she said smiling"we could call him Aj or Tony."

 

"I don't know..." Wolfe smiled. "I suppose we are just friends."

"Oooh, you've got this all planned out haven't you?" Lake smiled.

"It doesn't always stay that way though~" Casey chuckled in a sing-song tone. "In fact, I'm yet to see a male and a female who are friends around here for any real amount of time without something eventually sparking between them."

 

she nodded"mummy says if its a girl,shes just gonna mix up names again like she did for me!"she giggled

 

"Oooh, I bet it'll be pretty. Just like you're name Esmya." Lake grinned, ruffling the little girl's hair. She then looked up at the child's mother with a inquisitive expression. "So whose name's are you gonna mix up this time Maddie?"

 

"I dunno..."she said sitting down"its harder for a boy...easy for a girl,i was going with Rosalice but thought no,too weird, i tried to mix mums name up again with esme,but i got nothing...i mean we cant be sure if its a boy or girl..."

 

"Rosalice is a nice name though, sounds sort of Spanish." Lake smiled.

"Not at all." She smiled.
