"i'll see if shes still here..."he said going to the hall"Jamei?"

 

"Yes Mickey?" Jamei responded. Turning her head to look at him with sightless eyes. Eyes that seemed to of been inverted so that what should be white was blue and what was blue was white. Then what was blue was covered in dark red and scarlet veins.

 

"What....happened to you?"

 

"I had a bit of an... incident."

 

"are you....ok?"

 

Nate, who had followed Mickey out, sprung up from behind his older cousin. An intense look of worry on his face.

"I'm fine. Just some bruising and a couple of blisters. That's all."

 

"shouldnt you atleast get checked out?"

 

"Nah, I'll be fine. I'm not in pain or anything."

 

"are you sure?"he asked

 

"I'm sure." Jamei nodded, smiling reassuringly at her cousin.

"Jamei, you're talking to me. Outside, now." Nate said in a determined tone as he walked towards her, grabbing her arm and pulling her outside.

"Fine." She muttered as she was dragged outdoors.

 

he turned and went back into the living room

 

Lake, who had stayed in the living room with Caleb, looked up at him as he entered the room.

 

"i see what you mean about her..."

 

"Her eyes are creepy, aren't they?" Lake asked quietly.

 

"yeah..."he said

 

"But she doesn't seem to be in pain or anything, infact she seems fine. Just very secrective."

 

"very,very secretive..."

 

Wolfe sat on the staircase, and lit up another ciggurette. She inahled the smoke, then looked at it between her fingers and sighed. "I might give up soon.." she mumbled.

 

"You mind not smoking inside the house? It's not too good for the little kids we have around at the moment and, quite frankly, I think the smell is disgusting. Gets right up my nose." Casey said after he slid down the banister and landed perfectly on his feet after jumping off the end.
