Wolfe got out of the pool, shaking the excess water from her furr. she looked into the house, her nose flaring.

 

whats up?"he asked

 

Wolfe just stared, looking at maddies stomach.

 

"what is it?"he asked

 

She stepped forward, sniffing.

She looked at her stomach, he rclaws scraping the floor beneath her. no....way...

 

Maddie tilted her head to the side


"wolfe?"

 

no....friggin.....way.... Wolfe's eyes widened, a whimper escaping her throat.

Wolfe stepped forward, her yellow eyes focussing on Maddie's stomach. nooooo way.

 

mickey followed her gaze

 

Wolfe's eyes narrowed as she looked at mickey, then back at maddie's stomach.
Are you completely brainless? You must have got it by now. How can you not smell that new scent?

 

"Maddie....do...you feel...weird?"he asked

"now that you mention it...i do...kinda..."

 

Wolfe blinked, her eyes still locked on her stomach.

 

"Vampire's cant get pregnant...right?"


she nodded

"then why can i smell something like your daughter?"he asked her"and i know its not esmya cos shes back home..."

 

Wolfe looked at Mickey, then Maddie, and then back at Mickey. She sniffed again, her nod confirming that she was with Mickey on this.
