"you cant talk Maddie! you used to faint at the sight of blood before you were a vampire!"

 

"don't call him a wimp!" she smirked.

 

"He is a wimp! and that wasnt my fault....i dont do it now..."

 

"he is not!" she laughed, looking at him. "okay...maybe a little."

 

"a little?"she grinned

 

"yes....only a little...." she smiled, looking at the black-haired boy.

 

he grinned"just because im not some kind of super human doesnt mean im a wimp!"

 

She smiled, her eyes softening slightly. "maybe being human is better than being super-human... you never know."

 

"I dunno...Maddie went on and on and on and on to be a vampire.....so....immortal or superhuman life is gotta be better than mortal life...you dont die as easy,if at all."

 

Wolfe clicked her tongue. "true.. but it's harder to actually flirt and stuff without ripping mortal's heads off...sometimes.."

 

he laughed

 

She smiled, looking at her hands, which were spinning a bottle-lid around her fingers in a blur. although her comment sounded a joke, she actually meant part of it. "coming into the pool? or the sun, anyone?"

 

"Im coming to the pool!"Mickey said rumaging through the fridge

"its a good thing the Island is iscolated,then nobody can see me and Antony when we're out in the sun."

 

Wolfe grinned, nodding. "true..." she looked at ronan. "did you bring suncream?"

 

he nodded"got it in my bag."

 

"may I borrow some?" she asked. "the stuff tastes nice."

 

"yeah,here "he took it out his bag and lightly tossed it to her

 

Wolfe caught it, then gently sqeezed some into her mouth. she otssed it back. "th-th-thanks." she mumbled, some of the cream dripping from the corner of her mouth.

 

he grinned shaking his head

 

"it...tastes...like...coconut.." she mumbled, smiling.
