Lyra sighed"mickey....you'd think you'd learn....thats all you do when your drunk...though...its just your boy cousins you do it to...."

 

"There some secret homosexual incest fetish you're hiding or something Mickey?" Lake snorted, poking him with her foot.

 

"yes,im gay for my cousins..."He joked

 

Wolfe looked. "...I'm gonna be sick, really." she sipped her apple juice, looking at the liquid. "is it just me... or does this look like pee?" she eyed it skeptically.

 

you know....i've heard that somewhere before..."he said

 

she still looked at the glass. "...really?..." she murmured.

 

"Yeah.....cant remeber where though...."he said


Lyra picked up the phone when it went"Cory!"she cried"your coming home? when?!"

Mickey's smile fell from his face, his big brother was coming home? great....he stared at the floor

 

"who the hell is corey...?" she nudged Mickey.

 

Lyra wandered away,still talking to her eldest son

"my no good,big brother...."He muttered

 

"...does he need a beating?" she thought about what she just said. "hmm...nevermind...why is he so "no-good" ? "

 

"because...."he sighed"thats what i call him....i know dissappered, but he does it too often....you know he wife was pregnant,and he didnt tell us untill something like the 6th month....and no matter how many times he goes away with his quidditch team, my family welcomes him back like some god, he can do no wrong in their eyes....unlike me....its always been like that....always will...."he said"and im not just the jealous younger brother because i have just about as much as he does....i think the fame went to his head....it did in school...."

 

she looked to the floor. "school?"

 

At Hogwarts....he was the quidditch captain....the best player there was...the best seeker....no matter how popular i was....he was always more popular than me....then...before maddie meet Antony,Cory got into the English Qudditch team...and after the voultri left....he waited a month to say that he was going on a world tour with his team...a friggin month after we all nearly died! oh he made me so mad that day....i'd never lost it like that with him before....you've seen the scars i have all over me....well he's got one too...not as bad as mine...but hes got one...right across his chest....and now he;s coming back? yeah...you can understand why im bitter towards him..."

 

"jeez..." she shook her head. "I hate the guy already..." she smirked. she began to search through her memory to see for any recollection of him or Mickey in the school. "...was I there at the time..?" she asked.

 

"dont think so..."he said..."and do you know i dont even know his kid's name....i know it starts with a C."

 

she shook her head. "so.. he's a vamp? or what?"

 

"Human..."he said"Lucky."

 

she smiled to herself. "so if I were to...I dunno....argue....then it went to far.....He would fight back? or back off?"

 

"he'd back off..."

 

she sighed. "great."
