"Yay!" She giggled as she looked around once again.

 

he laughed,opening the back door and getting out

 

Lake giggled as she clambered out of the car after him, sliding off the seat and landing perfectly on her feet. There was a tiny clatter of heels as she touched down on the ground. She skipped off a couple of steps and looked around her. It never ceased to entertain her, being outside in civilization without any frustratingly strict social workers to tell her what she could and couldn't do.

 

he grinned,she looked like a child who'd been aloud out somewhere they'd never been before

 

Lake smiled back at Mickey. "So, what we gonna do? Where to first?" She asked excitedly.

 

"How about...you and maddie go to the dress shop,me and antony will get her contacts and meet you there?"

 

"Alright then." Lake nodded, looking over at Maddie.

 

this way"she smiled

 

"See you soon then Mickey." She smiled as she stood up on her tip-toes and kissed him lightly on the cheek. Lake giggled slightly then skipped over to Maddie.

 

he wvaed and headed in the other direction with his brother in law

 

"So, which way is it?" Lake asked.

A little way down the street Nate was sat down on a bench with a notepad, writing down small sentences every now and then. As he looked up he saw his cousin and his brother in law approaching.

 

"this way."maddie said leading her

"Nate? Nate!"he said"what're you up too?"

 

Lake followed behind her, looking around.

"Not a whole lot, just taking notes." He shrugged snapping the book shut. "What about you two? You're not around her often."

 

"He rolled his eyes"two word, Maddie.Shopping....says it all..."he sighed

"we're be tortured..."

 

"So, what do you think it'll be like? Being back at school and seeing everyone?"

"Oh fun." Nate snorted. "So what will you two be doing for the next five hours or so?"

 

really,really weird."she said"i mean we just up and left after a year of being back...people must've being telling stories..."

"well....we'll be getting our stuff and then waiting for them."

 

"Who knows, personally I think everyone thinks I died." Lake laughed faintly. "Or they just didn't notice I'd gone. One or the other."

"Lots of waiting going on there if you don't take forever shopping for your stuff too then."

 

"I hope its not any of them...they probably did notice..."

"yep....might wander around a bit."

 

"First person to actually acknowledge my existence in a way that wasn't pushing me around was your brother, so I kinda doubt they would of noticed. Or if they had done they would of just not cared."


"Think you'll have to to keep off the boredom."

 

"never mind them then..."

"yeah..."he grinned
