For All the Wrong Reasons

"Leave her alone." he said, taking his hand off of her and crushing it in his.

 

"Hiru," she said softly. She watched the guy struggle and then she put her hands over her ears, and shutting her eyes. She could her him slurring his words again.
"Yo man.. Just playing" then a menical laugh.

 

"Next time you touch her, you'll be on the ground." he said.

 

Jordyn sucked in a deep breath of air listening to those words.
"Next time you touch her, you'll be on the ground."
She could hear a laugh that was meant for a joke then heard a few more choice words.
"Is that a threat?"

 

"No." he said. "It's a promise." He took her hand and lead her away from them.

 

Jordyn felt him take her hand, leading her away.
"You didn't have to do that for me," she said. She could still hear the footsteps behind them. The laughing and snickering scared her me. When she felt one of them pull her back on the ground, she looked up, seeing a few others going after Hiru.
"Watch out!" she shrieked

 

"Bad choice." he said, punching and kicking the guys nearest him.

 

"Hiru!" she called out. She stood up before feeling the guy behind her lift her up. She kicked and tried to slap him from behind until one of the other boys came in front of her. He pushed a cloth in her face for a few seconds, then pulled it away. She coughed, as she felt dizzy taking in a deep breath of fresh air.

 

He fought his way to her. "Let her go!" he yelled.

 

Jordyn hit the guy behind her and felt herself hit the ground. She sat up, rubbing her head and trying to take more deep breaths.
"Chloroform," she coughed.

 

He kept fighting them until he reached her. He knealt next to her.

BIC: "C'mon, dress properly Jacky" Alexis told her brother, while zipping up his sweater. She carried him and started walking on the sidewalk. "where would you like to go today?" She asked sweetly.
"Umm... I wanna go to the park" He said in a happy tone. Alexis smiled at her and said, "Alright, the park it is"

 

Jordyn shook her head and closed her eyes again, listening to them.
"Yo man let's just go," and then the pattering of their feet. She whimpered and held herself in her own arms.

 

He picked her up and said "Let's go."

 

She nodded and felt her body shiver.
"I live down the street, in the purple house," she said sleepily.

 

"Right." he said, taking her to her house.

 

She frowned and whimpered.
"I'm scared of them," she cried softly. She let the drug get to her head, and she couldn't concentrate much.

 

"I'm sorry." he said. "We should have gone the long way like you suggested."

 

"It's fine...What's done is done," she said softly.

 

"Alright." he said. He walked up to her house.
