For All the Wrong Reasons

Depression, seems to be the world's leading cause of death now. The skies are dark now, and the world is departing. More and more people are dying each day to an illness called "Depenea" which meaning a bacteria formed from depression.
Anti-depressants have been sent to everyone within the walls of Hazard... And it is the law now to take the anti-depressants.

A group of teenagers refuse to take the pills. They think nothing is wrong with them, and that the government is out causing all of the mishaps.

They think the government has been causing the killings and the depression as a form of "experimenting".

They're going to stop the government from killing all of innocent lives.

The city of Hazard is like a normal city, everyone goes through the normal routine. The anti-depressants are fixed to where the eyes of a human will have a gold ring around them when shined in the light... That and a scar on the left wrist, in the shape of a sky star.

Biography: Both her parents were all for the anit-depressants, so now she must live on her own in fear of the government. She has a job at the local cafe and keeps to her self. Where both of her parents worked for the government, she had gotten into the plans and learned about how the government is manipulating everyone.

Biography: Jake was born and raised in Hazard. His mother died after an overdose of anti-depressants while his father abandoned him at age 16 for reasons still unknown. Jake accepted his life for what it was, and decided to make the best out of it. Recently, he began to suspect something not quite right about the anti-depressants and intends to do something about it.

Biography: Nicky was always alone in the world. Her parents are overly abusive and don't care about her. Even in school she was constantly teased of being too sad all the time. She did not dare take drugs to deal with her problems, she just wasn't that kind of girl

Biography: She used to be the girl everyone would want when they were depressed. She was always full of sunshine before, but recently her mother passed away and she lost hope. Her brother took care of her, not wanting to let her fall into her father's hands but he couldn't take her anymore ever sine her sudden change. She's usually found alone, sitting on a bench drawing or on the swings in the park. She doesn't like the drugs and refuses to take them, opposite of the remaining members of her family.

Biography: Her parents died from taking the pills. Alexis is a very smart a pretty girl. After her parents died they left her and her younger brother who she treats as her own child. Her brother's name is Jacky, and he's almost 5 years old. Alexis is a motherly figure and takes care of Jacky as much as she can.

Jordyn looked both ways, crossing the street. She skipped over to the cafe and took off her jacket, hanging it up against the coat rack. She jumped over the counter and put on an apron. She took her pen and pad and jumped back over the counter, greeting her first costumer of the day.

Jordyn had sat down the young girl and took her order, bringing back her tea and danish. She took a deep breath and after waiting another few seconds. Another person had came in and she immediately seated them.

 

Mica walked through the sidewalks of Hazard, passing by a number of stores that didn't catch her interest. She stopped by a cafe, deciding that it was time that she's got something for herself today.

 

Jordyn had her next costumer seated and got their order. She went to the front of the cafe, waiting for the next person.

 

Mica entered the cafe and looked at the girl standing in front of her.

 

Jordyn smiled.
"Right this way please," she said walking to the table, a menu in hand.

 

Mica followed silently, as she was lead to the table. She sat down on her seat, "Thank you." she said softly.

 

She put the menu down in front of her, put a straw on the menu and set the utensils to the right of the menu. She took out her pad and pen.
"What would you like to drink?" she asked

 

She scanned through the menu that was placed in front of her. "A Caramel Cream Cappuccino would be fine." she said, with a slight smile.

Jordyn smiled and nodded. She walked over to the counter, and jumped over, getting the cappuccino. She set it on the counter and jumped back over, getting the coffee over to the teenager.
"Here you are. Holler at me when you're ready," she smiled. She walked to the front of the cafe, seating another person.

 

"Thanks." she said once again and poked the straw into it and started drinking. She pulled out her sketchpad from her bag and started drawing once she had her pencil.
