"MELINDA!!!"
This was it, his worst nightmare relived over and over again. He saw it every time he blinked or closed his eyes to sleep, the scary movie that played on the insides of his eyelids. Now it was a reality. He couldn't bear it. He couldn't breath, the cracking of his ribs folding in on his lungs could account for that. Stupid, stupid, stupid. A block of ice froze in his throat and flecks of metal were running through his veins, slowly cutting him to pieces on the inside. On the outside his face was nothing. He almost wondered what would happen if his face were wiped clean, no nose, no mouth, a sleek shiny nothing. Her second scream snapped him out of his mind and he raced over to her, tackling the creature that had stabbed her, he would deal with that one in a minute. With one all powerful strike, filled with years of pent up anguish and pain he wiped out the whole army of dark creatures. His body was drained but his mind was running on fumes, there was one last thing he needed to do. He grabbed the one that had stabbed her and pinned it. Then, taking the tinniest piece of sharpened rock, he cut up the creature one piece at a time, listening to its howls and feeling a demented pleasure in it.

 

Kako took slow heavy breaths, seeing nothing but black spots now. SHe heard an odd name called out. Who was this Melinda? Her back hurt in the stabbed area. Her legs became numb and she was now on the ground, unable to move her legs, or feel anything in her back or below her waist, she was numb. A sharp pain signaled up in her head, and she cried out again, feeling something stab her again, in her back... It felt like the first one, yet it was nothing, just an after shock sort of . She was wishing she was dead now. She cried out again, pushing her body to her side. Her waist wouldn't move whatsoever on her command.

 

Dmitri was almost brought back by her cries. He still had a job to do. One more thing then he could just lay down and never have to get up again. They could go on without him, he wasn't vital like they were, just a tool. A broken tool is of no use to anyone anyway. He crawled over to Kako and drew on his special power, drawing metal flakes out of the earth. Carefully, he pushed the flakes into her open wound and molded them around her spine, mending it so it would stay strong and never break again. After he was finished he numbly stood and carried Kako gently over to Bella.
"Bella.....her spine is sealed....open wound.....you gotta patch it.....I have to....leave," he said forcing the words past the ice block still in his throat. He gave Kako to Bella and turned to walk away. That was all he had to do, mission accomplished. He collapsed.

OOC: Ice has it's own element? BUT IT'S JUST CRYSTALIZED WATER!! IT'S THE SAME FREAKING THING!! Let's just say it's a water sword and a water barrier, okay?

BIC: Oblivious to what was going on around him, Evan kept on destroying the creatures. He ran up the dirt orb thingy and jumped off, slashing a few creatures then landing on the ground.

 

Kako found herself in a new set of hands. No! Where was Dmitri? She wanted to know if he was safe. Please... Be safe Dmitri.... Please be safe.. Her head hurt so bad, but felt her back in not much pain, just the terrible burn of her open flesh wound. Her legs weren't numb, and they throbbed each time her heart pumped. Thump, Thump Thump... Thump, Thump Thump.... It gave her a headache.
"D-Dimitri?" she called out, using a little strength.

 

Dmitri's back went rigid. Mel hadn't lived long enough to speak again. Which meant that....this could turn out different, it didn't have to be that nightmare. This could be a happy ending for them all. He turned around completely and took two longs strides, bringing Kako back into his arms. He held her away from his body by about an inch so that if her side was bruised it wouldn't hurt.
"K-Kako?"

 

Kako's arms grabbed him and wrapped around his shoulder, hugging him. Tears flowing down her eyes. He reminded her also of someone she loved dearly.
"Dmitri!" she cried out, holding him close to her.

 

OOC- I have no idea what has happened, a re-cap plaese...

 

Dmitri's smile was weak but it was there. He held her closer to him, happy that she would be okay. Now everything was fine, and his energy was spent. His legs buckled and he was on the ground, careful not to hurt Kako. Now that everything was fine he could feel all his hurt spots, especially a place under his mask on his forehead behind his mask. That would have to be patched, but by who? For that he would have to.....but no he wouldn't. It would just have to heal on its own.

 

Her eyes looked up at him.
"Are you hurt?" she asked, worried. Her thoughts had been so careless.
"I'm so sorry, i shouldn't have..... I'll help you," she said, still holding him closely.

 

Reiji runs up to the dirt wall, beating his fist againist the wall ,until he was tired.... "Damnit" He said sitting down, Why did everyone else get powers? He stood up to try one more time ".....I can't give up now!" he punches at wall, sending sharp shards of Ice from his hand into the wall " Yes!" he run through the monster cutting through them. Kako, Dmitri, I'm coming!

"I'm just a little bruised, and broken, and tired. Of course those can all be accounted for by the fact that I just wiped out an entire army, with you guys help of course. The worst thing is a gash under my mask."
He sat up and propped himself up on his arms which were only a little tired, less than the rest of his body ironically.

OOC: Dmitri wiped out a whole army of strange creatures :3

BIC: Kako brisked her fingers softly down his mask.
"Are you that protective of your identity? I could help you with that," she said, her voice trailing through in a whisper. She wanted to help him. It could become serious on him. Her eyes were full of worry and thoughts.

 

He shook his head.
"Its complicated."
He struggled with the decision while he sat up.
"Okay."

 

OOC: So there's no more for right now then? Also, what else is going on?

 

She smiled, as her fingers ran over his mask again. Her throat felt dry with a slight burn to it.
"If you want, i can heal it up without looking at your face.. Just remove the mask at the part your hurt an di can help you there," she said. She really wanted to see his face... and look in the exact eyes of him. She felt she could connect better with him if she saw him, in the way nature and the heavens made him look.

 

Reiji slices at the creatures, as he look out into the distance seeing Kako and Dmitri " Guys I'm coming!!". Creatures surround Reiji, charging at him "Get away!!" he yells, as bladed Ice spikes shoot of of the ground into the Creatures Did I do that?
