Final Fantasy XII-2

Ty kissed her forehead. He pulled off his shirt.

 

She sleepily rolled over, covering her face just past her nose with the blankets. Her hands cusioning her face between her skin and the pillows.

 

Ty looked at the ceiling.

 

Cajia slowly drifted off too sleep, her dreams haunted by that dark, stormy night a year ago.

 

Ty heard Cajia breath lighter. He pulled something out of his pocket.

 

Her dream then ceased to be meerly haunted, suddenly it snapped to that night. In every small detail, from the texture of her clothing to the smell of the dank, damp night air. Slowly in the distence she heard the faint metallic clunking of armour...

 

Ty slipped the thing from his pocket onto Cajia's finger. It was a ring. I hope she never has to learn about me being an ex-Imperial.

 

She then heard his voice, the Imperials voice. The voice that was etched into her mind for eternity, then... She heard herself speak... And after that; the shadowy confusion began...

Her fist clentched and unclentched just as Ty placed the ring on.

 

Ty felt Cajia's fist clench. He frowned.

 

After a few mintues of reliving the disturbing ordeal once again Cajia's eyes snapped open. And in almost the exact time it took her open them she was sitting bolt up right, drentched in a cold sweat and panting heavily as the adrenaline and fear coursed through her.

 

During those few minutes Ty had gotten up and walked to the closet. At the back, was a panel. He pulled it back and stared at the Imperial armor. He sighed. He grabbed the breastplate and put it on.

 

Cajia still panicing from her nightmare franticly searched the room with her eyes for him, once her eyes settled upon him she jumped backwards. Landing in a heap on the floor, still hiding under the covers.

 

Ty pulled off the helmet.

 

"What the f*ck!?" she cried, looking nervously over the top of the bed. Her eyes wide with fear.

 

"It is just me."

 

"But what the f*ck!?" Cajia repeated

 

"A few years ago I was forced to join the Imperials."

 

"Yet you kept the f*cking armour!" She shrieked from the floor.

 

"Yeah. How else do I get into the Marquis's place?"

 

"Yer don't!" She exclaimed, diving out of sight again.
