Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Baaj Temple? ...I hear it was submerged... or something... guarded by a giant Fiend."

 

Lukya sighed and nodded, thinking about the temple where her brother grew up. Kari thought about where she and Rikku found Tidus when they met him. Rikku looked like she was doing the same.

 

"... I want to go too. For your sake." he told her.
"It's just... think about it... how long this Pilgrimage has taken us so far... I don't see how exactly we'll be able to get there in time... We still need to go to Bevelle, and that won't be so easy to get to either..."
The only way they could currently do it would be to spilt up from the rest of the group... but they couldn't just do that.
Not now of all times.
"We'll have to think of something..."

 

"But why me?" Tidus asked him

 

Lukya nodded and sighed, sliding down against the wall and sitting next to him. She went into one of her pockets and pulled something out. It was a pendant, Lukya remembered Seymour did the best he could to make it for her. Kari looked at the object she pulled out and smiled, "I could make it a little bit better if you want." "No, it's fine the way it is."

 

"It is one of those things that is difficult to explain. Very well, I will show you." Auron said and walked ahead "My memories." Auron said and got on his knee. Suddenly the Young Auron and Jecht appeared

"Can I ask you one last favor? Uh... Nah. Never mind." Jecht said

"Out with it!" young Auron demanded

"Okay. Listen good. Take care of my son. My son, in Zanarkand. He's such a crybaby. He needs someone there to hold his hand, see? Take care of him, will you?" Jecht said

"But how am I supposed to go to Zanarkand?" young Auron asked

"Hey! You said it yourself! There must be a way to get there, right? You'll find it." Jecht said

"All right, I will! I give you my word. I'll take care of your son. I'll guard him with my life." young Auron said

"Thanks, Auron." Jecht said and hugged Auron "You were always such a stiff, but that's what I liked about you."
Jecht said and the two memories disappeared

"That is why" Auron said walking away

 

Kari watched the memory and picked Ryo back up, placing him on her back. She walked beside Auron, hoping Ryo would wake up.

 

Auron looked over at Ryo "he used to much power in that final attack. Everybody would have had a ticket straight to the farplane had he not stood up and counterattacked" Auron said

 

"He will wake up, though, right?" Kari asked. "Auron, he will be alright, would he? Ryo isn't going to die, right? Tell me honestly." Lukya looked at her, worried.

 

"Ryo is tougher than that...
He'll be fine... he just needs some rest I'm sure... if anyone of us had done what he did. We'd been in the same condition I would reckon."

 

"I just....... want to be there when he wakes up. To thank him." Kari said, Rikku asked. "Thank him for what?" "For slapping some sense into me. If it wasn't for him, I probably won't be here right now. I just want him to know that."

 

Auron walked up ahead of them "honestly ... there is not a great chance of survival...but the only one who can change that is Ryo himself" Auron said

 

Tidus didn't say anythign and followed Auron as they approached outside.

 

Kari looked at Ryo, and smiled, walking up to Auron. "I hope he'll be alright when he does change that, Auron." Lukya, Rikku, and Yuna followed them.

 

Outside in the ruins was Sin staring over at Tidus as he walked out

 

"I know...the Final SUmmoning's gone...just...give me more time." Tidus thought as he stared at Sin

 

The airship appeared, as Cid shouted, "You guys need a lift?!" "Cid!" Kari shouted, smiling, Lukya looked at the airship and sighed. Yuna and Rikku smiled at the airship's seemingly timely arrival.

 

OOC: we didn't do the crest thing with Tidus in the end lol.

"Convenient timing... Also..." he looked to Lukya.
I think I know how we're going to get you to Baaj Temple." he told her.

 

Sin simply turned away and left the area after watching Tidus.

 

When they got on the airship, Lukya looked at Brother, and asked in prefect Al Bhed, "Brother, lyh oui bmayca dyga ic du Baaj Temple? E femm keja oui dra luuntehydac du kad drana." Kari and Rikku were surprised at how well she spoke Al Bhed.
