Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"And with the endless cycle gone, there's no need for it anymore." Kari told her. Lukya sighed and nodded.

 

"...The cycle will truly be over once Sin is gone for good. We'll find out how... I get the feeling that the Yu-Yevon, Yunalesca mentioned... is the key to this..."

 

Auron stopped Tidus while everybody left "There is something you should know. I am also an unsent. You are not surprised?"

 

"Well...yeah... You did get hit by Yunalesca back then." Tidus commented

"I wonder what this Yu Yevon looks like..." Dean said thoughtfully, well Mika better have some answers since he's probably lived more than anyone.

 

"I get the feeling... he won't help us so willingly... especially once he learns that we've just erased his ticket to continuing the cycle." Daichi said quietly.

 

Lukya looked at them, and took off her Maester robe. She wasn't sure what to do, she touched the ribbon on her arm and sighed. "Something wrong, little princess?" Kari asked her.

 

Daichi looked at her too, wondering what was up.

 

"Huh? Oh, I was thinking about when we do go to Bevelle. I simply doubt me telling everyone I'm a Maester will be able to get us inside Bevelle." Lukya said, Kari smiled. "We'll find a way, don't worry."

 

"One way or another." Daichi added, hitting his fists together.

 

Kari nodded and sighed, she didn't want to worry the others but she did feel something when Yunalesca began the process.

 

Daichi, being good at reading people, noticed Kari's sudden sigh.
He however didn't say anything... it wasn't his place. He didn't know what was wrong, but he could tell she was trying not to worry the others.
He decided he might ask later if she didn't reveal it before then.
He was aware she might notice him looking at her funny, so he quickly looked away.

 

"Come on, lets go get some answers." Lukya said, gripping her bow.

 

Daichi nodded and started walking with the others.
"If you'd prefer, I can carry him." Daichi offered to Kari.
"Although something tells me he would much prefer to wake up on your back anyway.."

 

"He's not that heavy." Kari said, walking beside him. "Besides, if it wasn't for him, I might not be here." "Still, don't worry us like that again, Kari!"

 

Daichi gave her a concerned look.
He decided that he at least wanted her to know that HE knew something was up.
That's why he didn't mind if she saw it.

 

"What, Daichi? Do you think something's up?" Kari asked, looking at him.

 

Daichi gave her a look as if to say. 'oh, you very well know that there is something up'
Then he said teasingly, "I dunno... maybe you're putting on a little weight."

At least now she would know that he had some thought, maybe if she didn't want to confide in the group, she would know it was at least safe to with him...
unfortunately, he did just mutter a slap worthy comment. But he had only done it so as like her, not to worry the others as well.

 

Kari was silent for a moment, then told Lukya to look away and slapped Daichi across the face. Lukya looked back when she heard the slap and sighed.

 

Daichi had seen it coming, he didn't attempt to block it. Dean's punches had been worse anyway, but none the less, the slap did sting if only a little...
"...Maybe I saw wrong." he said to her, "Just... watch yourself in case of any sudden changes." he gave her the concerned look again before quickly changing his faces expression to that of a tease again.
He hoped she would be able to decode what he was saying.
...or she might just slap him again.

 

"I will do that, trust me on that one." Kari said, and continued to walk. Lukya walked beside Daichi, "Everything alright?"
