Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Dean tilted his head up at the evening sky. "Where to begin...well, I was a boy who always yearned to be a Golem Hunter, basically,we'd dig up Golems and befriend it or study it, anyway, I once saved a girl from an arm of a Golem and with my best friend, Rebecca, travelled with the girl who fell from the sky to find someone named Johnny Appleseed, turns out, it was a wine at first but as we traveleld and experienced more things, befriending other comrades, it was a title given to those who saved the world in my region."

"A title?" Tidus asked and Dean nodded. "Like people call Yuna Lord Braska's Daughter or Summoner since it's a title the people gave, turns out Avril,the girl, was named Johnny Appleseed by the people and was from the far past where she was called the Ice Queen,a name feared...anyway, the journey shown me something that always occured, the commoners and Veruni." He said

"Veruni?" Wakka asked and Dean nodded."They are similar to humans but with a completely body structure, they looked down on humans and were of higher class, Nightburn, an idolof mine tried to climb the wall between these races but didn't succed and I was named his successor after defeating him when he actually worked for them and instead of climbing over that wall, I was going to shatter it...however, Volsung, a man born between the two races stood in my way with his guards,naturally, I won in the end but the representation of all those who tried this caused a rupture which threatened to blow the region away, Avril was the only one who could this with ease but there was a price, her midn woudl be sent back into the past to where she rested in cold sleep,waiting for the day she is freed again."

"So...it's a endless cycle." Tidus said and Dean nodded. "Of course, Avril did emerge out but forgotten everythign about the journey, just like when we first started but ebfore the true avrilleft, I was given her title in front of the people, Johnny Appleseed."

"Then why are you here instead of there?" Tidus asked in confusion.

"Well...how do I explain it..." Dean started to wonder and looked at him. "Wakka and you stand next to each other." He said and they did."Okay, now let's say there was a between you two, Tidus represents Spira and Wakka represents me, now, I can't get into Spira because I don't belong there because I am not from this world." He said and Tidus was confused. "Eh?"

"Okay, let's have Wakka represent a different world then, now these worlds are cut off, seperate and don't know of the other's existence because they are alternate, now if there's a crack in the wall where something can slip by and transfering something from your world to another will be simple with use of ancient technology."

 

Yuna sighed while Rikku and Kari simply looked at him, Rikku asked, "Anyone else?" "I have one. Of course it does have Seymour in it." Lukya said, Kari smiled, "Tell it. I'd love to hear about a time when Seymour wasn't a crazy psycho killer."

 

Daichi followed Dean's story... sort of...
Then Lukya spoke up..

'Seymour...' 'crazy psycho killer...'

Those words set off a reaction in Daichi's chest...
... he stood up suddenly... and walked away from the camp a bit...
He just didn't want to hear any of it right now..

 

Dean looked at Daichi leaving, he kinda figured no-one would udnerstand what he meant and stood up. "Don't mind us, we'll be back, besides, I think my story threw everyone off." He said and stood beside Daichi "...That's not what I really am, I just went for imagination...I do come from another region of this world...but." Dean trailed off. "That felt so long ago now...a hundred years yet I haven't aged at all because of being frozen in cold sleep and brought to this region by Kazuhiro without my knowledge." Dean admitted.

"All my previous comrades are gone now and I guess that region has forgotten about me, so I don't have a home to go back to there so I'll make a living here." Dean said calmly.

 

Ryo noticed Daichi walk away from camp and looked over at him from the corner of his eye

 

"As I said... Gagazet was never a home anyway..." Daichi said surprisingly sadly... he paused...
"So what's your connection to the Fayth?" he asked quietly.

 

"Maybe I shouldn't tell mine." Lukya said, Kari shook her head and said, "Go on." "Seymour wasn't as bad as he has become now. I remember when I was about seven or so, just learning how to learn a bow, Seymour and I were walking through the Moonflow North Bank when a really strong fiend appeared. Seymour took one of the attacks for me, giving him a large scar on his back. I was luckily enough to get many Potions to heal him. Nonetheless, Father was glad to know Seymour kept me safe."

 

"Experiment." Dean said lowly. "Yevon experimented if people could control the Aeon's power without a Summoner and they did succed with two subjects, myself and Kazuiro, Kazuhiro went a bit insane and had me escaped with what sanity he had left and so I espaced to Besaid, forgetting who I was as well before he freed me." Dean said honestly. "But deep down, I always reserved a hatred for Yevon and the teachings without knowledge, if the mind didn't remember, the heart did,"

 

"Right..." Daichi sighed.
"...We've both not had it easy in life, huh?"

 

"So what happened to the fiend?" Rikku asked, Luyka thought back. "Seymour was enough to finish it off, then he collasped from his wound and tiredness." "Wow, not surprising." Kari said.

 

Dean punched Daichi in the shoulder lightly. "I've accepted that I can never go back to where I lived, sure it's a hard thing to take in but if I don't, I'd probably go insane like Kazuhiro...besides... I see it as a adventure and I don't look back on it, maybe when I pass away, I might meet them again in the Farplane." Dean said maturely.

"And this hair color makes me feel like an old man, man I miss the usual colour." Dean said with a chuckle.

 

"Heh..." Daichi accepted the hit.
"It's not like I'd want to go back like that... I'd still never belong...
My place is with you guys anyway... it's just..." Daichi glanced at Lukya for a second.
"It's hard you know?"

 

"I simply wonder if Seymour still remembers that time?" Lukya said and sighed, Rikku smiled. "I think he probably does. There are just memories that can't be forgotten with our siblings. Am I right, Wakka?" She looked toward Wakka.

 

"Seymour chose his path and I think Lukya accepts that even though he's a sibling, she wants to save him from his insanity, even if it means killing him." Dean said thoughtfully.

"I never experienced a sibling relationship so I can't imagine how deep it runs but I also think she took up the role of Maester to lead the Guado out of the darkness that Seymour covered it in, he probably realized that and made her become a Maester out of a last act of sanity." Dean said and his eyes cast to Mt. Gagazet.

"And Lukya will have perhaps have a hard time in the future if the Ronso decided to kill off the Guado race in the future since they are a warrior tribe and some might be so focused on revenge so maybe,you should aid her after we defeat Sin and show the two races that bond you two share." Dean stated.

"Hah, Chappu was sure one guy I'd miss, we'd do nearly anythign together, got shocked when he faniced Lu."

OOC; Dean's predicting the future and yes, it'll be true as Garik Ronso is one of the Ronso who wishes to kill the Guado in a few mission.

 

Daichi took a deep breath...
he thought about what Dean said... it all rushed through his mind...
"Dean..." he said thoughtfully.
"I want you to do me a favour..."
He faced Dean full on.
"I want you to hit me... like that first time in the plains."

Rikku smiled and nodded, thinking of her time with Brother, though he was a bit crazy. Lukya sighed and thought about her brother. She took off her Maester robe, revealing on her left arm was the ribbon Kari gave her with the necklace and earring on it. Kari saw it and smiled.

 

Dean blinked for a few minutes and looked at the others. "Fine...I still owe you for that bruise." He said and spoke out loud. "Everyone, I'm just doing this guy a favour so please whatever you do, don't scorn me for it." He said as Tidus heard it. "What's that?" he asked and Dean already had the answer.

"...THIS!" He pulled back his fist and delivered a hard puch on Daichi's jaw as he heard gasps.

 

Lukya wanted to run to him, but Kari stopped her. She looked at Daichi, worried.

 

Daichi's head moved from the impact. He didn't even rub his jaw afterwards. He slowly bought it back up straight.
"Thanks... I needed that." he said, then he paused...
"It's funny... that time back then... That punch was what started it off... it was the trigger...
From then on I started to see things more clearly... it was slow... but it did happen.
Maybe now... that it's happened again... I'll start to see beyond what I've been blinded by again."
He patted Dean on the shoulder. "You're a good friend, Dean.
But you're losing your touch... last time, you floored me." he taunted.

 

"Daichi, are you alright?" Lukya walked up to them and looked at him, worried. Kari sighed and smiled.
