Final Fantasy X-2: Resolved Dreams

Lukya took the flower from one of the children, "Thank you. I'll treasure this forever." She looked around and found Kari surrounded by the children who were excited to the one who became the Final Aeon and lived. Kari looked at them and waved. Lukya waved back.

 

Daichi looked at Lukya as they both went and joined Kari.
"It's times like these that I know everything we went through was worth it." he told them.
Sure... it made him sound like a big softy... he half expected Kari would tease him for it too. He patted Kari on the head teasingly, messing her hair up slightly, "Even you with the worry you caused us, little miss Final Aeon."

Yeah... she might just tease him...
But... well... he couldn't help but still be amazed that he had been a part of the group that had made the Eternal Calm possible. He had never ever expected anything like this in his life. That meeting years ago in Guadosalam's Farplane and then on the Thunderplains had truly changed everything for him.
Smiling wasn't difficult for him now, but that was probably how all of Spira felt in the new era of peace.

 

"Talking like that, sounds like you've gone soft, Daichi." Kari smiled at him, her arms crossed. "What happened to the tough Half-Ronso that was going to prove himself worthy to avenge his sister two years ago?" Lukya smiled and held the flower. Yuna walked over and smiled.

 

"He still exists somewhere... He just found something else other than revenge... although he did happen to get his revenge at the end regardless of no longer needing it. He just... sorta grew up thanks to a bunch of amazing people." he paused for a second as Yuna came over to join them.
"Or what, would you prefer I be all mister broody?" he smirked.

 

"Nah, seeing you like this is fine. The same goes for Yuna, showing her emotions now rather then holding them in." Kari smiled and stretched her arms. "But, I wonder if we will find him."

"Daichi did say we would drag back someone from wherever they went." Lukya smiled and looked at Daichi. "Right?"

 

A knock behind Daichi occured as Dean had hit him lightly with a fist. "...Try and go back to that broody self and I promise you that punch in Zanarkand won't be the last one, Skieth or not." Dean said, sure, he didn't have his unusual strength right now, all he was is just a normal human being with limitations like everyone else in the world and he'd come to accept that rather quickly, it's better to lose that power rather something using it for destruction.

"Besides, aren't you guys sphere-hunting? Isn't that why you came here in the first place?" Dean asked them.

 

"Actually, we came so I can tell Wakka and Lulu I'm alright." Yuna said. "I didn't know there were any spheres here." Kari nodded with Yuna's comment.

 

"Of course." Daichi pumped his arm, forming a fist.
"Even if they are kicking and screaming." he paused, while smirking and he looked at Yuna.
"And you know I keep my promises. We'll bring him back for sure."
He put his arm around Lukya again. "I swear it on my honour and my pride."

He felt Dean's light tap and turned to him.
"Heh, sounds interesting. I hope you haven't gotten too rusty over the past two years, old timer." he said tauntingly.
His tone was still quiet as it always had been, but there was a certain liveliness to it now as well.

 

"Well, it's getting late. I'm gonna turn in for the night." Kari went to the former Crusader Lodge. Yuna smiled and walked to Wakka and Lulu's hut. Lukya smiled and took Daichi's hand and went to the lodge. Laying on the bed Wakka provided, Yuna sighed and fell asleep.

 

"Yeah, it's best if we turn in too." he said, as he let Lukya lead him to the lodge.

OOC: Forgot to add my Daichi Avi to all my last posts lol... :P

 

Lukya let Daichi guide her to the lodge and sat on one of the beds available, laying down. She looked at the ceiling and fell asleep, dreaming of her brother. She watched her memories of them being together, and dreamed how he would be if he was still alive.

OOC: I'm gonna try this now. This is Lukya, as she looks now.

 

"Old timer!? I'm not THAT old, sure, I was frozen for 100 years and didn't age in body and mind!" Dean swore he'd get Daichi back for that comment as he wen tto stay at teh inn, Yuji was already asleep.

 

Daichi laid there for a while... he watched Lukya for a little bit and then just stared at the ceiling.
He still wasn't a heavy sleeper... he used to always stay up and keep watch for the group back then too.

He got up and quietly snuck out of the lodge, so he wouldn't wake anyone.
He entered the temple, and paid his respects to Lord Braska.
Still feeling wide awake though, he wasn't sure what he would do. He walked back out of the temple and sat on the steps.
He started humming the Hymn of the Fayth quietly. He found that he would do that sometimes without even realising it.

 

Lukya woke up to the sun pouring into the lodge and walked out, looking around for Daichi. She found him and sat by his side. Placing the flower in her belt, Lukya looked at the village and smiled. She sighed and stretched her arms.

Kari was already awake and was praciting with her katana. She was pretty sure Ryo wasn't the only one who recongize her pose at Gagazet. She sighed, and sheathed her katana, looking at the sky, 'Auron was a inspiration not to Ryo, but to me as well. His devotion to his promises and Yuna helped me devote myself to help her and the people of Spira.' She thought to herself.

"Good morning." Lulu said to Yuna who woke up, she looked around, "Oh, where's Wakka?" "He left at daybreak. He said something about a cave." Lulu said, Rikku wondered, "A cave? I wonder what he's up to." "Want us to go find out?" Yuna asked, Rikku said, "Yeah, there might be fiends." Lulu smiled and said, "Thanks. Though, I doubt he'd have trouble handling a few fiends. Still, I'm a little worried. It's not like Wakka to hide things." "That's funny. I don't remember there being any cave." Yuna said, Lulu asked, "I don't know much about it either. Would you mind asking around?" "We're on the case!" Yuna smiled, and waved at Lukya and Daichi.

 

"...Seems like there is something going on." Daichi said to Lukya as Yuna waved at them and he read the expressions of the others, even at a distance.

 

Lukya nodded and got up, running to Yuna. She told them to ask around the village for clues of a cave. Lukya looked around and wondered where Wakka went. She sighed and asked some of the villagers.

Kari was told the news and she looked around the island for clues. She explored every bit of the island. With a sigh, Kari rubbed her head and looked around the summit of the hill.

 

Daichi used his tracking skills.
Looking for any traces of Wakka he could find.
He went to a high point on the islands beach to see if he could find anything there. All he found was a weird number.

 

Lukya found a number on one of the pillars to the beach. She wondered what it meant and hoped Wakka was alright. She remembered when Wakka was concerned about her Guardianship to Yuna, but he accepted her quickly. Lukya sighed and looked around, changing into the Black Mage dress. She gripped the staff that appeared and walked around.

Kari found a number on the statue where the people prayed for a safe trip. She remembered what Wakka told her about Chappu when he died, he didn't pray because he was going to miss his boat on the day he died. 'If Chappu hadn't used machina before he died, how different would Wakka think about me, Rikku, or the other Al Bhed?' Kari thought to herself, remembering how well she and Wakka got along before he discovered her lineage.

Yuna found a number on the pathway to the beach and hoped Wakka was okay, she met up with Kari, Lukya, Daichi, Lockon, Yuji, Aqua, Rikku, and Paine. She discovered the numbers were the clues to a hidden cave entrance and found Wakka. "Something wrong?" He asked when he saw them, Yuna said, "We came to check on you."

"Is there something in this cave?" Rikku asked, Wakka rubbed his hair and said, "Uh, yeah...something like that. Who knows, maybe it's not here, ya? But I thought, "what if..." Maybe it's for real. Then again, maybe it never was. Been so long, I'm not sure anymore."

"So, you're saying there's something that might be here, and you want to know for sure. Right?" Paine asked, Wakka nodded and said, "Right. But you see...I wanna know, and then I sorta don't wanna know." "Aw, man, make up your mind! What is this thing, anyway?" Rikku asked, Wakka smiled and said, "Well, uh... See, I heard there was this old sphere." "A sphere? Of what?" Rikku asked, Wakka said, "A sphere of...you know. What does it matter?" Paine began to walk away with Kari.

"Hey, whoa!" Wakka shouted, Paine said, "We're sphere hunters, remember?" "It's as good as ours!" Rikku shouted happily, Yuna smiled, "All right, Gullwings..." "Time for business!" Rikku smiled. Wakka smiled as he sat down, "The Gullwings, huh?" Yuna led the group to the altar which held the sphere. A dragon appeared behind them, Paine said, "Find the sphere and the fiends appear."

Everyone got ready for battle, Rikku seemed to notice the staff Lukya was holding in her black mage dress, "Lukya, that staff....... Isn't that..........." Yuna and Kari had recongized the staff as well. Lukya smiled and nodded, "Yes, this staff is the same one Seymour wielded when he was alive. But I wanted to have something to remember him. So, Daichi, how about some sword magic?"

 

Daichi pulled out Twin LionHeart.
He nodded at Lukya, "...The staff looks good with you." he commented as he crouched low and held his blades ready.

 

Lukya held out her staff, preparing a spell and cast Fire on the blades of Twin LionHeart. Flames surrounded the blades but it didn't hurt the blades. Lukya smiled at Daichi and looked at the Flame Dragon.

Kari smiled and made a x with her arms. Running toward the fiend, she separated her arms and made a cross slash. She smiled and turned to Rikku.
