Final Fantasy VII: A Angel's Return

'Aerith.......' she whispered. Her own memories of the flower girl raced her mind. "Why did she leave us? She was so young!"

 

"I know." he said. "It's all Sephiroth's fault."

 

"He caused everything sad in our lives. My father, your mother, our home!" Tifa started to cry again.

 

"I know." he said, putting his arms around her. "And also the stigma that both Denzel and I had which we were cured of, thanks to Aerith."

 

"She was always there, when we needed her." Tifa smiled, hugging Cloud.

 

"Yeah." he said. "And she will always be watching over us."

 

Tifa sighed. She wanted to be with Cloud, this way forever. But she also wanted to stop Genesis.

 

"So, I wonder what we do now." he said, thinking out loud. "How would we go about looking for Genisis?"

 

"What about Sephiroth and Gilgmesh?" Tifa asked.

 

"We could probably trust Gilgamesh and he could be a great help." he said. "But I do not trust Sephiroth at all. I will be keeping an eye on him. If he tries anything, I will stop him and kill him again."

 

"Yeah, probably. After all he did."

 

"Yeah." he said. "Should we head back to the bar and rest before we start looking for Genisis?"

 

"Yeah. Wonder if the old elevator still here?"

 

"Who knows, it might be buried under all the rubble." he said. He got to his feet.

 

Tifa got to her feet and walked to the pile. "The damage doesn't look bad."

 

"Yeah." he said. "We should head back now, Marlene and Denzel are probably getting worried."

 

"Yeah, they probably are." Tifa smiled.

 

"Come on, my motorcycle isn't too far from here." he said, taking her hand and walking.

 

Tifa smiled and followed Cloud.

 

They reached the motorcycle and Cloud put his swords back in it. He got on and waited for Tifa to climb on too.
