Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Yuna's face turned red and she stubbornly turned away, she noticed pyreflies near the wall and walked to the spot.

 

Yuri noticed Yuna's turn around and walked somewhere. "What's wrong?" He said as he walked and Zidane went to look with Dagger.

 

"You can't..... see them.....?" Yuna asked, Dagger looked at her confused. "See.... what?"

 

Zidane was confused as well. "All I see is stone wall." He said to her and Yuri looked at Yuna sliently as he looked at the place where Yuna sees the pyreflies.

"Pyreflies...? How come Zidane and Dagger can't see it? They are of this world and so am I but yet, I see them? Could this be the dress-sphere's doing again?" Yuri blinked a couple of times.

 

Jecht walked beside Yuna and looked at the pyreflies.

 

Zidane looked at Dagger and shrugged his shoulders. "If you guys are that fascinated about a wall, I'm concerned now." He said jokingly.

"...I wonder what would happen if we were to touch them?" Yuri thought.

 

A pyrefly hovered above Jecht's hand, he sighed. Dagger thought she saw something over Jecht's hand.

 

Yuri rubbed his eyes a bit from the sun as he saw something from the corner of his eye and blinked. "Did I just see a purple hooded boy?" He looked again as there was no-one there.

"Must be my imgination." Yuri concluded.

 

"Come on, Yuna, the others are probably worried." Jecht and Yuna headed back to the others, Dagger followed them.

 

Zidane and Yuri walked side by side.

"So...what was that new set of clothes from yesterday." He asked and Yuri looked at him. "It's called Songstress and their creator, Shinra, made one for me since for some reason, Yuna's didn't respond." he said and Zidane looked at him. "I wonder what you look in her ultimate sphere." Zidane said and Yuri gasped.

"Me...white hair, flowers? I don't think so!" He said and Zidane laughed.

 

Tidus sighed as he looked around the area for his necklace and earring "where the heck could they be" Tidus said getting annoyed "this is so annoying. First I found out I can't remember the person I like and now I can't find my favorite earrings and necklace. I feel like yelling out loud" Tidus said and stood there for a while and then decided to yell out loud

 

"Tidus!" Mrina ran to him, gasping for air as she held out a package to him, atop of it was his necklace and earring. "I made a little snack for you since you're going on such a long journey. Yuna found your necklace and earring near the Eidolon Wall. When you find who you're looking, bring her to Jecht and me. I'm sure we'll love her."

 

Tidus smiled as he took the necklace and earrings and put them on and took the package and then hugged his mother "thanks mom and don't worry I will bring her when I remember and find her" Tidu said

 

Mrina hugged him and smiled.

 

Tidus smiled "alright Im off. Take care mom" Tidus said as he walked away

 

Zidane noticed he heard a song as Yuri and hismelf strayed back to talk as Yuri waved Zidane off as he sat at the entrance of the village alone as he heard footsteps so he turned his head, wondering who it was.

"Oh, hey there Rikku." He said as he looked out to where the Iifa Tree was supposed to be.

Zidane soon heard someone sing. "I can hear a song... Dagger...? From down there?" He asked himself and soon found Dagger on a boat as she had stopped singing.

"It's okay. Keep singing. 'Cause it's our song, right? I'm surprised you found this place. You got the talent to be a bandit! How 'bout you and me team up? We'll call ourselves 'The Betrothed.'." He said jokingly

 

Mrina returned to the village as Rikku noticed her, "Hey, Yuri."

Dagger blushed and turned away.

Yuna stood above them, cradling the real earring and necklace, what Mrina gave Tidus were prefect copies of the items which she made in the Alchemist dress.

 

Yuri looked at Mrina who was smiling to herself. "A mother huh?" He thought to himself.

"Hehehe. You're really something these days." Zidane said to her.

 

Tidus continued on his journey but then suddenly stopped walking as he noticed the Ilfa tree. He just stood there and stared at it

 

"So what ya doing?" Rikku asked him.

"I guess I have you to thank for that. I never would have escaped the castle if it weren't for you and the others."
