Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"They couldn't have disappeared, but they were here, where would they be? Good thing Leblanc, Logos, and Omri aren't here......." Yuna sighed.

 

"Never say that, it may come true." Yuri said as he bent down for any tracks as Zidane looked at him. "Anything?" He asked him and Yuri nodded.

"Well they was certainly footprints here but I can't seem to follow it at all." Yuri stated.

 

Yuna looked around, she sighed. Paine searched around for her three old friends.

 

"That's odd, lately I haven't been able to sense presences or track, could those three men be that good at covering their trcaks or is ti something unatural?" Yuri thought as he stood up.

"Maybe they entered the town to see if anyone was in?" Zidane said.

 

Yuna ran into town and saw no one alone. She checked the Eidolon Wall and everywhere.

 

Yuri followed Yuna aroudn for any traces. "Odd, it's almost as if they were ghosts." He commented and Zidane sat down on a bit of rubble. "Maybe the desert is getting to Rikku?" He asked them.

 

"No, I've lived in the desert for most of my life! I could tell what was real and what was an mirage!" Rikku shouted, Yuna sighed and nodded.

 

"Okay geez, don't get your tail in a knot, I don't have any idea." He said as Yuri looked at them. "Peharps we'll bump into them later." He said.

 

"If only there was a way back to Spira......." Yuna sighed.

 

"If there's a way in, there's a way out, you'll find it, I'm sure your Guardians miss you terribly." He said to her.

 

"Yunie, do you think there could be a pathway back to Spira around here? Think about it, we were walking to the Farplane and ended up here." Yuna thought and nodded. "Lets look for it."

 

Zidane looked at the girls. "Hey, it's getting late, you two ladies shoudl wait until morning." He said to them and Yuri looked at Zidane.

"I'll go with them, gives me a chance to try out this new form and plus Zidane, you and the others could keep an eye on Tidus in case he suddenly goes all evil on the village again." He said to him and Zidane looked at him.

"Trying to get with two ladies? I never thought you'd be a ladies man Yuri." He said jokingly.

"Hey! They may need me for my tracking skills and plus, you woudl do the same if it were you." He said and Zidane crossed his arms. "Fine, but take an adult along as well so he can keep an eye on you." He said and Yuri stared at him. "You just want one less pair of eyes away from Dagger."

Zidane laughed. "You caught me there but the same can be applied to you." He said and Yuri looked at him. "Okay, I honestly wouldn't do anything anyway, I'm more curious about how those guys got here in the first place." He said to him.

 

Yuna laid on the bed she was offered and looked out, falling asleep.

 

Tidus suddenly walked up to them "evil on the village? what are you talking about" Tidus said with a serious look

 

ZIdane looked at him. "Ah it's nothing important, we were just wondering what would of happened if you were all evil and that sicne you are mostly cheerful and to be honest, it's kinda hard to picture you that way." Zidane said and waved off to get some sleep as did Yuri.

 

Tidus crossed his arms and looked at them suspiciously "right........whatever you say" Tidus said

 

Jecht sighed and went to bed. He didn't fall asleep, he stayed awake, thinking about what happened when Yuna was kidnapped.

 

Tiduws went back and sat down on a pile of rubble not able to sleep. He then took out two fingers and put them in his mouth and whistled. He didn't know why he did it

 

Soon morning light came as Yuri strenched outside, noticing the sunrise.

"Well...it's a beautiful sight since my body clock always gets me up early." he said as he strenched out his legs

 

Jecht stepped out the house, yawning loudly. He stretched and sighed.
