Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"The dance you saw Yuna, Braska, and Lenne do at Lindblum, that was a sending. And I heard Seymour was unsent, that meant he was still alive, though he died. The fayth kept him alive." Jecht explained to Zidane, Yuna left and looked out at the horizon, thinking about the marriage and shook.

~Flashback~

Dressed in all white, Yuna stepped out of the room she was in and looked across from her. Seymour was dressed up in what she was assumed a measter's groom outfit. She sighed and looked back in front of her, walking to the point where she and Seymour walked up to the pastor and be proclaimed man and wife.

She thought back to where she brought to this, the lives of her guardians. She hadn't agreed to marry him, all her guardians would be dead. Yuna sighed and looked up, heading up the stairs with Seymour. Her mind rested with the fact that her guardians were coming to save her, hopefully.

~End Flashback~

Yuna looked out and sighed.

 

Tidus simply held his head in confusion "urg this is so confusing" Tidus said

 

Zzidane sort of gotten it but was still confused so he decided just to not get more confused about the situation as Yuri noticed Yuna leave and stood next to her.

"I saw it with my own eyes, that moment." Yuri said to her as he looked out over the horizon as he placed a hand over his green eye.

"He was certainly twisted, forcing it upon you for your Guardian's lives and then ordering them to be killed." He said as he removed his hand.

 

Tidus crossed his arms and looked over at Zidane "hey Zidane don't you find it weird that Yuri knows so much about Spira when he said that he is from Burmecia" Tidus said

 

Zidane stared at Tidus and thought about it. "Last I remember, when we were escaping Alexandria the first time, he said you appeared in this world and told him about Spira then just left, my guess is you lost youe memoires after that period of time." Zidane said thoughtfully.

"So it could be he's using the knowledge of the story you told him to explain what's happening." Zidane looked at Tidus. "Besides, when we camped outside of the Evil Forest, Yuna told us she was searching for someone and she was surprised that Yuri knew that man." Zidane explained to Tidus.

 

Tidus kept his arms cross but then sighed. "all I remember is my time in Zanarkand. I sort of remember meeting Yuri and leaving his house but after that all I can remember was this strange blue light" Tidus said

 

Yuna looked at Yuri. "Did you believe what I do after that?"

Jecht thought for a moment. "Zidane, does that sound like the man from your story?"

 

Zidane looked at Jecht and thought to himself. "Great, he heard the bedtime story, so much for alone time." Zidane thought to himself and nodded.

"Yeah, this man has searched all his life for a blue light as that's all he could remember." Zidane said.

"Of course, you had a reason to go through with that." He said to her. "After all, you follow what you believe in and just follow what path has opened to you." He continued as he looked at her.

"Besides, you are a strong willed woman and that's helped strengthen your resolve to put an end to Spira's suffering." He said to her.

 

"Yuri, can you still remember your childhood? It's fine you seeing my memories, but what about your own?"

 

"Childhood huh..." He looked up and thought to himself. "Been a while since I looked back on it." He said to her. "My father was always a honorable man and sought to help anyone in need beofre his own needs and he taught me the family style...my mother...she passed away from childbirth so I never got to know her personally but my father said she was a lovely woman who cherished him and myself...then my father passed away from a incident, leaving me home alone, the Burmecian's helped me out at my house to live on my own until I left to see other towns and work on my swordsmanship."

Yuri looked out over the horizon as he scratched his head. "That's a first time I ever discloed that much infomation about my life to someone before, kinda embarrasing." He laughed abit.

 

"I just spent ten years training to follow in my father's footsteps."

 

"It's not somethign to be ashamed about, your father became a great man in helping Spira despite Sin's return after his Calm but you followed in his footsteps because you believed in him and wanted to see the world he protected so you can also protect that." Yuri said to her.

"If I was your father, lover or a friend in Spira, I'd be proud of you and believe you would find a true peace to Spira with your Guardians." He said, blushing a bit.

 

Yuna sighed and took out a sphere. "This is the sphere that stared the journey which led me here to this world."

 

Yuri looked at the sphere, it certainly seemed like the one Yuna used during her pilgrimage to bid farewell. "I'll be honest, this is my first time seeing an actual sphere besides the ones from your memoires." He said to her.

"Something so small started a big journey huh, the world does surprise you everytime." He exclaimed.

 

Yuna smiled and played back the sphere. She sighed, remembering how she thought Shuyin was Tidus.

 

Yuri looked at the sphere, the looks of Shuyin and Tidus and the way he reacted was similar. "No wonder, they do lookalike despite the clothing." He said and looked at her.

"Peharps you should give that to Lenne or Shuyin Yuna, you already found him despite his memoires being lost." He said to her.

 

Yuna nodded and sighed, putting the sphere away. "That was the only thing made me believe he was alive on Spira."

 

"And quite right too." He said to her as he smiled. "But I think, you knew that before you got the sphere and how you knew that was this." He tapped his finger lightly on her chest.

 

Yuna blushed and smiled, then thought for a moment. "Did that Ryrin kill your father? You called him a murderer when Seymour kidnapped me."

 

Tidus sighed and began to walk away and the sat on a pile of rubble
