Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

The woman groaned and the strange cloaked woman appeared again, picking Lenne up and setting her against the wall. She took a sword and fought the woman, who cast Thunder on Yuri and Zidane.

 

Yuri and zidane jumped to the side as he looked at the robed person. "Who is this? Well I'll ask that later." and ran at Lani as he unsleathed his sword then Zidane unsleathed his daggers and ran at hism as well as Yuri clashed his sword with Lani's axe but jumped back as Zidane's dagger's hit her axe this time as he jumped backwards, flipping.

"I honestly prefer not fighting a lady but..." Zidane said as he trailed off.

 

Lani tossed her ax to the cloaked person, but the person got out of the way, the ax tore off the cloak, revealing a young woman wearing a rather revealing Zanarkand Abes uniform, but oddly enough, she had the same hair and eye color like Zidane and the same tail.

 

Zidane was shocked and surprised at the same time as he tried his best not to open his mouth and drop his daggers. "S-She looks like me!?" ZIdane thought in his mind as Yuri stared at the new woman. "She's wearing the same crest as Yuna's? Tidus never mentioned anyone like her.

"Zidane! Snap out of it and focus, we're in battle!" Yuri shouted and Zidane came back to his senses and got into his stance. "Got it! So lady, wanna give up?" He asked Lani

 

The woman groaned and jumped off. The new woman walked up to Lenne and gave her a potion to drink, her tail laying flat on the ground.

 

Zidane sleathed hsi daggers. "She took the stone with her! damnit!" Zidane thought btu then a red headed man leapt down as Zidane went on guard. "Who are you?"

The red haired man remained slient as he walked up to Lenne and handed Lenne the stone. "Now, fight me!" The red haired man announced as he stared at Zidane.

"Just a second here. What's going on?" Zidane asked him as the red haired man stared at him. "I just want to level the playing field." He simply responded.

"Okay, fair enough." Zidane said as he unsleathed his daggers and connected them. "Since you asked me to fight you, I'll do just that, besides, I need to impress Dagger anyway." he said as he twirled his weapon aroudn as teh red hairedman got into his stance.

 

The woman led Lenne back to Eiko, cradling the stone in her hands.

 

OOC: so shall I take control of amarant now

bic: tidus crossed his arms ready to watch the fight

OOC: Just a note for TwilightBlader, borrowing control of Amarant since he's meant to appear here so when you post, Amarant's yours.

Zidane ran at Amarant with his double balded sword.

 

Amarant got hit and suddenlt jumped backwards and jumped around the area

 

Zidane watched Amarant jump around the area and he grasped his double bladed weapon as Yuri watched the battle.

"Not a bad move, if he keeps moving around, Zidane will have trouble keeping up with him since he may miss." Yuri thought as Zidane disconnected his weapon into his daggers and jumped towards Amarant who had jumped away but Zidane grinned.

"Gotcha!" He said as he jumped towards a pillar and used his legs as moumentum as he kiced off it, coming in at an angle at Amarant as he swiped with his daggers.

 

Amarant held his ground and got his claw ready. When Zidane got close He jumped to the side and sent a punch right at him

"whoa for a big guy he sure is pretty fast" Tidus said as he watched

 

Zidane quickly used his blade to defned himself with the flat side as he used the momentumn to land on the ground.

"I'm sure he had training to compenate for his build and since he's using claws, he can move his arms around more quickly with defend himself and with hsi body, he could take on more powerful blows while Zidane has an advantage as well, thieves are usually quick on their feet to escape their foes and the fact he's using his daggers in two ways gives him a slight advantage in attacks." Yuri explained to Tidus.

Zidane readied himself and quickly connected his daggers in a swift motion and ran along the Eidolon Wall with quick paced steped and slashed at teh slash and then he twirled aroudn to give a relentless attack upon Amarant then when Amarant had stopped one of the blade, Zidane disconnected the sword and used the free dagger to slash at him.

 

The woman returned with Yuna and Jecht.

 

Tidus nodded "your right. Your pretty smart in battle" Tidus said as he watched the fight

Amarant blocked the attack with one arm but the moment he switched bladed he suddenly jumped backwards to avoid but got scraped a bit

 

Yuri spoke. "It's only natural, travelling on your own is dangerous and it's best you memorize your attacker's styles so you can counter it when you got the chance." He said as he felt Yuna and Jecht and the woman presences.

Zidane stood there as he twirled his daggers. "Gonna give up yet?" He asked confidently.

 

"don't get confident. Its only a scrape" Amarant said and jumped towards Zidane and slashed at him with his claw

 

Zidane jumped back and had his feet against the wall. "This is taking a bit too long, guess it's time to play...the finale!" He said as he kicked off and charged at Amarant as Zidane twisted his body slightly and soon slashed on side of Amarant's body as he landed on the ground and quickly turned around and slashed at his back as Zidane jumped back as he sleathed his swords.

"Can you stand?" Zidane asked him.

 

Amarant was on his knee looking down at the ground after he got hit "I....lost.......go on finish me" Amarant said but then looked up at Zidane when he asked if he could stand
