Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"He forced me into that marriage! I don't love him at all! I love........" Yuna stopped, her face deep red staring at Tidus. "I love someone else."

 

Zidane was dragged away. "Hey hey Eiko, where are we going?" He asked her as Yuri finished his meal and sat outside on some rubble as he had heard the whistle and scratched his head as he placed his White Mage staff beside him.

"It'll be hard to get used to these transformations to my body." He thought to himself and looked around. "Village of Summoner's huh, something huge must of happened to make it like this." He thought again.

 

Yuna looked out, still blushing. "You're not the only one who wishes your memory was back."

Eiko was trying to be alone with Zidane, Rikku snickered and hid secretly.

 

"huh you know somebody else?' Tidus said

 

Yuna didn't answer, she simply stood up and said, "I'm going for a little walk. I'll see you later." She walked off.

 

"ok I'll see you later" Tidus said

 

Yuna went out near the entrance of the village and sighed. She didn't sense anyone behind her and was knocked. Jecht went looking for her and found a sphere. He picked it up and went back to Tidus, tossing it on his lap.

 

"huh" Tidus said surprised and then looked at the sphere

 

"You seen Yuna? Braska wanted to speak with her about something."

 

Yuri breathed in deep until he felt a presence and turned his head. "Oh, hey there Braska." He said as he looked out to the horizon.

EIko was asking Zidane various questions like how old he is and etc until he was asked if he and Dagger were something more. "Well... Yeah, we're more than friends but as a team as Vivi's a part of it."

 

"Hey..... Taking in the view?" Braska sat beside him.

"Why is Vivi always near Jecht? He's always clinging to him like a frightened child."

 

Yuri listened. "Yeah, it's a good benefit of travelling, then again, you would know that since Tidus mentioned in his story, you stopped Sin." He said calmly.

Zidane looked at Eiko. "I guess Vivi's nervous of the world around him and considers Jecht the fatherly figure he never had." Zidane said thoughtfully.

 

"Yes, but it was a honor to be the father of the summoner who stopped Sin for good."

 

"I guess so, but I suppose Yuna had a tough time living up to everyone's expectations and being the daughter of the last man who stopped Sin." He said and breathed in the air.

"To be honest, I do not know what kind of fear Sin brought with it but I can tell it was something that shouldn't even exist." He said to him.

 

"I understand your feelings. But I died when she was merely seven years old. I think it was around that time I suddenly arrived in Alexandria and assigned to protect the princess." Braska listened to the summoner's melody that Dagger was singing.

 

Zidane heard it as well. "Now that's some voice." He said and Yuri listened as well.

"I'm sure Yuna had a tough time dealing with linege as well being half Al-Bhed." Yuri said and loooked ahead. "That's the first time I seen Yuna cry." He remembered her Songstress transformation and she had cried upon him.

 

Braska simply listened to the melody, Dagger was beneath the house and sitting in a boat, singing.

 

Zidane looked to Eiko. "Hey Eiko, where are the other summoners?" He asked her.

Yuri noted Braska's silence and listening until he saw a brief flash of Yuna attacked and he blinked his eyes. "That wasn't the usual memory flash..." He thought to himself.

 

"A strange hurricane killed most of them. The only survivors were Lenne, Mrina, my grandpa and my parents, that was ten years ago."

 

"I'm sorry..." ZIdane said, worried he brought up a bad memory.

"Come to think of it...I don't see Yuna anywhere..." Yuri thought and looked around from where he was.
