"Hello, Tidus. Your father hasn't changed at all, it seems. But you've become so handsome. You must had all the girls after you." Mrina smiled.


Lenne and Eiko were in the kitchen, preparing dinner.

 

Tidus immediatly clinged onto his mother and tried to hold back tears but was not doing a good job

 

Mrina immediately hugged him back, softly humming his favorite song.

 

"Im so glad your alive mom" Tidus said and then looked up at her "why mom....why did you leave my like that" Tidus said

 

"I didn't mean to leave you alone. I've been here as long as Lenne, but I kept thinking of you, wondering if you're okay." Mrina smiled and pulled a silver locket out. She put it over Tidus' neck.

 

Tidus smiled but then noticed something she said earlier "wait did you say dad was here?" Tidus said

 

Yuri had sensed someone as he saw Rikku, who was searching for him. "Guess this isn't the time to worry about it..." he thought to himself and stood up against the wall.

 

"Yup. I was able to spot your father in any crowd, even if he wore a cloak." Mrina smiled.

Rikku found Yuri and helped him to the town square.

 

"where is he?" Tidus said still unaware that Jecht was his father

 

"He ran into town with that little mage. Wonder if he was nervous about seeing me again?"

 

Tidus got mad "he is the reason you died and now he cant even face you" Tidus said getting very angry and ran into the town "old man get out here now" Tidus said

 

Jecht calmly walked in front of him, "Yeah, son.......?"

 

Tidus was surprised when he saw Jecht "y-your my dad" Tidus said

 

"Yeah.... this is one heck of a family reunion. Like I said in Lindblum, I'm raising Vivi as atonement. Of course, you probably think I don't need to atone for anything."

 

"you think raising vivi is going to atone for what you did" Tidus said as he took out his sword "quit being soft. Where is that tough man that called himself a champ" Tidus yelled with anger

 

Jecht took out his sword and placed it at Tidus's neck, a empty look in his eyes. "Lets settle the dispute." Yuna sighed as Mrina stood beside her.

 

"Fine by me" Tidus said and slashed away the sword and ran forward towards him and slashed at him

 

Jecht dodged and blocked the attack, and knocked him back.

 

Tidus got hit and did some backfilps and then jumped forward at him and slashed at him

 

Jecht turned around and threw his cloak off, attacking him.
