Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

The Hilgigars took the summon's attacks and used it's hand to catch Jecht's sword and threw him him with it's strength as Hilgigars jumped, causing an earthquake when he landed.

"My turn!" Zidane said as he ran behind the Hilgigars and slashed at teh back as the Hilgigars turned around to use his fist to knock Zidane down who then rolled to avoid it as Yuri pointed his guns at the Hilgigars as he shot bullet rapidly with Trigger Happy.

 

Yuna destroyed it after changing into Warrior and using Assault. She ran to Jecht as he struggled to stand up.

 

As soon as Yuri saw Yuna's transformation, his clothes had reacted and he found himself back in his original clothing. "Eh?" He said as he checked his clothing. "It changed back? Could it be tied to Yuna transforming? He thought until he saw another flash of Yuna's pilgrimage.

"Again!?" Yuri thought as he found himself on the boat again as he saw Tidus perform the Jecht Shot.

"That was the Jecht Shot, wasn't it?" Younger Yuna asked Tidus and he was surprised. "How do you know that?"

"Sir Jecht showed it to me when I was a child. He called it the "Sublimely Magnificent Jecht Shot Mark III." she tried not to laugh as Tidus sat on the side of the boat. "Stupid name, huh? You know what? There is no Mark I or Mark II, you know? My old man said the name Mark III was just something to hook the crowd. He said they'd come back every night expecting to see Mark I and Mark II. And, they really did come back. I used to get so mad." He explained to Yuna as she giggled.

"Is he alive, you think?" Tidus asked her. "I don't know. But, Sir Jecht was my father's guardian. she replied.

"So he's famous here, too?" He asked again and Yuna nodded. "Yes. So if anything happened to him, I should think word would get around fast."

"Uh-huh." He said thoughtfully and Yuna stared at him. What would you do, if you found him?
" She asked him.

"Who knows? I thought he died ten years ago. Well...I'd probably just smack him one. After everything he put Mom and me through. And because he was famous, I was always... Well, you should know, Yuna. Your father's famous, too. Everyone in Spira knows him, right? Ain't it tough?" He asked her again as Yuna nodded. "It is hard to follow in his footsteps, as a summoner. But the honor of having a father like him surpasses all that, I think."

"Well, there wasn't much to honor about my old man, that's for sure." He said and Yuna gasped. "You shouldn't say that about your father!" She said and Tidus stared at her. "I got the right!" and Yuna thought about it.

"I guess you do." She said a bit sadly

Yuri shook his head a bit as he was brought back to reality.

 

"hey guys can you guys stand back. I want to try a new move I made" Tidus said

 

Yuna helped Jecht move out of the way.

 

Tidus smiled as he put away his sword "alright here comes by new move" Tidus said as he took blitzball out and kicked it hard at a huge rock and preformed the Jecht shot. With his final shot he destroyed the rock. "Yes I finally mastered it" Tidus said happily and turned to the others "so what do you think" Tidus said

 

"Wow, impressive move." Jecht smiled at him as he rested against a wall. Yuna, Rikku, and Paine changed to White Mage and used Cura on him.

 

Tidus was surprised to hear JEcht say that "well I have been planning on finding a way to use it more for combat" Tidus said

 

"That's going to be difficult to do."

 

Tidus smirked "so what? you watch. I will make a technique that combines this move with my swordplay" Tidus said

 

Jecht smiled at him, Yuna smiled and sighed.

 

Yuri experienced another flash when Yuna changed to White Mage and found himself at a dock. "Where is this?" he thought to himself as he noticed Tidus and Yuna within a crowd and he noticed a boat and looked around his surroundings, it was a city no less.

"Isn't that Maester Seymour?" A man asked and Yuri's head turned around as he saw Seymour but he was wearing different clothing and he stepped aside to reveal an old man. "People of Spira, I thank you for your generous welcome. Rise, Maester Seymour. And all of you as well. I present to you...the son of Maester Jyscal Guado, who departed for the Farplane a fortnight past. As some of you already know, he has been officially ordained a maester of Yevon." the Old Man said as Seymour had stepped forward.

"I am Seymour Guado. I am honored to receive the title of maester. In life, my father Jyscal worked to foster friendship between man and Guado. I vow to carry on his legacy, and to fulfill my duties as maester to the best of my abilities." He said and Yuri instantly took a dislike to him. "His eyes aren't exactly being truthful..." he thought to himself and soon found himself back to reality as his clothing changed again as he wore a white mage coat with blue lining and the hood was down as in his hand, he found himself wielding a staff.

"Another one!? Could it be everytime Yuna changes form, I see another memory and new clothing?" He thought to himself.

 

Yuna let Jecht rest and stretched her arms. She sat next to Yuri and sighed.

 

Yuri looked at her and looked at her and talked quietly so the others would not hear of the situation. "I think...there's a connection between this, whenever you change into a dress-sphere, it affects me as well, almost as if it's a link." He said to her calmly.

"Should I really follow Auron's advice and tell her of those flashes?" He thought to himself.

 

"Really? Then there must be special about you."

 

Yuri shook his head a bit. "I don't know..." He said to Yuna and sighed a bit. "I guess I'll just have to deal with it until the real cause is discovered..." He looked at her.

 

Yuna stood up and took Yuri's hands, changing to Songstress. She cried and hugged him.

 

Yuri saw her change as he was surprised as he hugged him and cried. "Huh...?" he thought to himself as his clothing wasn't responding to the change and he did the only thing that came to mind, he wrapped his arms around her.

 

Auron watched and sighed. Yuna held him and let go. "Sorry, that was sudden."

 

"It's all right, I didn't mind it." He said to her. "No memory flash from her transformation...Peharps it's because it's Lenne." He thought to himself as he felt the warmth of Yuna leave him when she pulled away.

Zidane noticed the scene but decided to keep quiet as he would tease them about it later.
