Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Yuna stocked up on supplies while Jecht waited for them. Vivi stood by him

 

Zidane had woken up from his sleep and strenched himself out as he got prepared as did Yuri.

 

Yuna and Dagger walked out of the item shop, their bags full with potions and other items. Jecht smiled and lifted Vivi on his back. Yuna saw that and smiled, instead of seeing Jecht and Vivi, she saw Jecht and a young Tidus.

 

Tidus smiled as he walked out of the inn. He walked past Jecht and Vivi and walked up to Yuna "good morning yuna" Tidus said with a smile

 

"Morning! We're fully stocked on items and supplies. So, Lenne, would you be so kind to lead your village?" Yuna turned to Lenne. She nodded and smiled, heading out of the village.

 

Yuri and Zidane walked as Zidane looked at the group from behind as he walked with his tail swaying in rhythm.

"Say, you three ladies can change forms quickly through the use of this 'dresssphere', is that something which belongs to your world?" He asked them as Yuri listened.

 

"Yes. Shinra created this Garment Grid, which lets us harass the dressphere's power." Yuna smiled, Rikku took a bite of the cotton candy from her Festival Goer dress. Yuna and Paine sweatdropped.

OCC: Cotton candy is Rikku's weapon when she is in Festival Goer.

 

Yuri and Zidane also sweatdropped as Zidane managed to steer away from the strange event. "So, considering there are called 'dress' spheres, that means you have alot of dress, what are they?" He asked out of curiousty.

 

Yuna thought for a moment and explained what dresspheres were, how certain spheres could be made into dresspheres.

 

Zidane listened. "So, you three are only able to use the grids?" he asked her.

 

"Yeah, but when I grabbed Dagger during the fight with that woman, she also changed into Warrior. Think she, Lenne, and the girls are able to use the grids as well, Paine?" Yuna asked, Paine shrugged, "Looks like it."

 

Zidane thought. "Well it is a Garment Grid so it can be related to girls, I wonder if it works on males as well." He asked aloud as Yuri thought about it.

"Well it does give an advantage of weapon changing to throw off your opponent but the only downside of it is that you won't know how your new weapon works since your body is naturally used to the weapon you use and if you attempt to attack your body would be used to your original weapon than the new one. he thought to himself.

 

"Lets do a experiment, than." Yuna grabbed Zidane's hand and changed her dressphere to Gunner. She wore her standard Gunner outfit and looked at Zidane.

 

TIdus crossed his arms and watched

 

Zidane looked at himself, he was still the same. "Guess that didn't work there." He said as let go of her hand but tripped as Yuna fell foward and touched Yuri's back who soon fell as Zidane looked at him. "Yuri...! Look!"

Yuri was confused until he saw his attire had changed into a state like Yuna's only he wore a short jacket with two breast pockets on either side as it was unzipped together with a black shirt underneath and his pants were completely white as there was a belt holding two guns and his shoes were also changed.

"Eh!?" He said shocked.

 

Rikku's jaw dropped at Yuri, Yuna looked surprised as well.

 

Tidus was surprised "wow.......good thing your not wearing a dress" Tidus said

 

Zidane was shocked as well as he looked at him as Yuri was just speechless.

"W-what...happened?" Zidane asked aloud, still a bit shocked as Yuri looked at his new attire, it felt strange to be wearing new clothing until he heard Tidus.

"Okay...that's a way to look at it...I think." He managed to say.

 

"Looks like certain people can change with the power of the dressphere." Yuna thought about it as they continued to the dwarf village.

 

Yuri walked with his new attire as he took out the guns and stared at them. "....Such strange weapons." He commented before twirlign them expertly, almost as if he knew how they worked despite ti being his first time.

"But...what was that I saw when Yuna touched me?" He thought as when he was touched by Yuna, a dream or somesort shown Yuna in her Summoner days. came rushing into his head as Zidane looked at Yuri. "You know how to use them?" He asked him as Yuri shook his head.

"First time I seen these things." He noted as he found it a little weird to walk in his strange clothing and shoes.
