Tidus started to awake "huh where am I" Tidus siad

 

Zidane started walking into Lindblum as Yuri followed as the two were being very wary of their surroundings until he heard a familar voice only heard in the castle.

"Allocate soldiers to the reconstruction. We must get the citizens; lives back on track." Artania spoke to a solider. "yes sir!" The solider left.

 

"Lindblum." Yuna sighed, and thought for a moment. Auron walked to the minister, "Artania, glad you're safe. How's the regent?"

 

Tidus jumped up to his feet "whoa what happened here" Tidus said surprised as he saw the destruction of Lindblum

 

"An eidolon destroyed it......" Jecht told him.

 

Arttania noticed Auron and the group. "Ah Princess Garnet! Master Auron, Master Zidane, the castle was spared and the Regent is alive...I shall take you to him." he said to them as he lead the way.

~Throne Room~

"Princess Garnet is back!" He called out to the Regent who was surprised and looked upon the group. "Garnet! I thought Brahne imprisoned you!" he was to her.

 

"She did, but I managed to escape." Dagger told her uncle.

 

"With our help of course!" Zidane said to Cid as Cid was happy to hear thsoe words.

"Thank you, Zidane." Cid said before he made an oglop noise again.

 

Tidus was still dazed a bit "who summoned that eidolon and caused this" Tidus said

 

Lenne bowed at the regent, "Hello, Regent Cid. I am Lenne, I also helped the princess escape."

 

Tidus looked around the area still surprised at the destruction

 

Regent Cid looked at Lenne. "I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, how did you escape Alexandria?" He asked them as Yuri spoke up.

"We were aided by Beatrix who aided us in our escape but Steiner and Freya stayed behind to help her fend off our pursuers."

"Ah, the renowned General Beatrix. I don't think you have anything to worry about...but how did you arrive here?" Cid asked them as Zidane nodded. "We wound up in Pinnacle Rocks instead of Treno.

"Pinnacle...? Did you ride the gargant?" Cid asked Zidane who was surprised. "How did you know?" he asked him back.

"It's my job to know the land surrounding my country. However... I sometimes lack foresight. Brahne was after the eidolons. That much, I knew. But I underestimated the power of eidolons. Maybe I deserve to be cursed with this body." Cid said solemnly as Zidane nodded. "I'm glad you surrendered. Cleyra resisted and perished."

Two Soliders had approached them with two familar memebers, Jecht and Vivi. "Hey, we got a live one here!" as one said as the second spoke. "Watch out! It might attack!"

 

"No! You got it all wrong!" Vivi began to cry, Jecht knelt down and patted his hat. "I figured something like this would happen."

 

The first solider glared at Vivi. "Then why are you dressed like a black mage!?" He questioned Vivi as the second was proud and spoke to Artania. "We took an Alexandrian soldier into custody!"

"Let him go. Master Vivi is not an Alexandrian soldier. It's only disguise to deceive the enemy." Artania said as the soliders gasped. "our apologies." The two soliders left the area.

"I've acquired more information about Queen Brahne. A weapons dealer named Kuja is behind the recent string of attacks. Kuja has been supplying Brahne with highly advanced magic weapons." Cid said to the group

 

"I knew him, regent. My name's Shuyin, I was Kuja's partner for awhile, but he didn't tell me anything." Shuyin sighed.

 

"I was right...... Kuja was behind this" Tidus said with his arms crossed as he listened to the regent

 

Cid looked at Shuyin and was slient. "I shall believe you young man...Those black mage soldiers are among these weapons." he said to the group as Artania stepped forward.

"According to eyewitnesses in Treno, Kuja appeared from the northern sky on a silver dragon."

Zidane remembered back in Burmecia of that strange man. "That's the guy I saw in Burmecia!" he thought to himself as Artania continued. "That he came from the north suggests that he is from the Outer Continent."

 

Lenne gasped when the regent told them that Kuja came from the Outer Continent. Auron looked at her, "What's wrong?"

"I come from the Outer Continent! See, when the Bevelle guards shot me and Shuyin, the fayth brought me to this world. I stayed in a village on the Outer Continent for a long time, I take care of a little girl there. One day, she got curious about what lies beyond our village, and I came here."

 

Zidane noticed Dagger was confused about the Outer Continent. "There are many unexplored continents in the world. The Outer Continent is an unexplored continent located to the north of our Mist Continent." he explained to her.

Cid nodded in reply. "I believe Kuja is the only one supplying Brahne with weapons." he said as Zidane came to a conclusion.

"If we defeat Kuja..." He started as Cid nodded. "You caught on quickly, Defeat Kuja, and Brahne loses her weapon supply. That will be our cue for a counterattack."

Artania looked the group. "Challenging Brahne now will only result in more casualties." as Yuri knew what it meant. "Crush Kuja, he won't find other helpers to aid him."

 

"Can you grab my things, Jecht?" Vivi asked, he nodded. Lenne looked at the others, "Regent, I know the way. Please, let me lead them to my home."
