Ryrin watched Seymour leave. "I wonder how he stands that woman?" He asked himself and and watched through the sphere.

Yuri saw Zidane return as he jumped across. "Any idea where we are?" He asked him as Zidance looked around. "My bet is this place is Pinnacle Rocks near Lindblum so the gargant tooks us this far, I'm sure the others are fine since Tantalus's member guys are with them too, it's also getting near to nightfall so I guess they'll be in Treno by now." he said to everyone

 

Just then a old man appeared, though everyone else was surprised, the only ones not surprised were Yuna, Lenne, Braska, and Dagger.

 

Tidus smiled "your pretty light" Tidus said to yuna and jumped up to his feet "whoa who are you" Tidus said to the old man

A red haired man was also heading towards where the queen was

 

"Are you our enemy?" Zidane asked cautiously from everything that happened earlier.

Yuri stared at the old, he could feel raw power emitting from him and alot of wisdom within his eyes. "He's not an ordinary elder I'll say that much." he thought to himself.

 

"Hello, your majesty." The woman said, Brahne stubbornly turned away from her. "I have a mission for you all. Retrieve the jewel from Princess Garnet."

The old man turned to Dagger. "Are you aware that your power was used to destroy Cleyra?"

"I had no idea. I was confined at the time. Wait a minute, you're Ramuh, the god of thunder!" The old man changed to more powerful being.

 

the red hair man crossed his arms

 

Yuri saw the old man chaneg form and he heard Dagger's words. "I wasn't kidding... he thought as Zidane looked at Ramuh.

"It is not Dagger's fault, everybody helped us, they knew" He looked to Dagger. "That's why everyone stayed in Alexandria." he said to her.

 

"What if the princess reacts?" The woman asked, Brahne shouted, "I don't care! Just get the jewel back!" The woman smiled and jumped down. Before the cloaked figures left, one asked, "Is it true that the princess is traveling with a cloaked man with a odd symbol on his body." The queen didn't answer, the cloaked figures nodded and jumped off.

Dagger sighed, Ramuh looked at her. "If what you said is true, I might be able to help. I will put you through a test. Follow five parts of a story, recite it to me and I will join you."

 

the red haired man looked at her "is it true that there is a boy with a tail traveling with her" the red haired man said

 

"Do whatever you want! Just get the jewel back!" The queen barked.

 

Yuri and Zidane heard ramuh's test and Zidane looked to dagger. "Don't worry Dagger, we'll help you out." he said to her, smiling.

 

"once i deal with that boy I wil get this jewel" the man said and jumped off

 

Dagger nodded and began to look for the parts of the story. As she explored the area, she found each part and tried to remember them. She reached the exit out of the area and prepared to tell the story to Ramuh.

 

Everyoen stood there with Dagger as she was prepared and Zidane looked to the others. "Well, it's now or never." He said to them.

 

Ramuh appeared and Dagger began. "Long ago, there were 33 small countries fighting against a mighty empire. A group of rebels were traveling when they met a man named Joseph and his daughter. Joseph helped the rebels to their goal. On the way back, a enemy appeared and Joseph sacrificed himself. The rebels did not relate anything of this to his daughter, because they owed him so much. I think everyone should follow their path and be their own hero." Ramuh smiled and transformed into a Period in Dagger.

 

Zidane watched Ramuh leave. "Hey Ramuh! your gone already?" as Yuri looked at Zidane. "What's wrong?" He asked him and Zidane turned to everyone.

"I wanted to ask him why he made Dagger play such a silly game. Heroic? Human? Those are just things people say after the fact. Why try to give meaning to what the main character of the story chose?" he asked them and Yuri thought it.

"I think Ramuh would of become her eidolon either way, that how I see it." he responded to Zidane.

 

Yuna nodded. "It was like getting a aeon in Spira. If the fayth heard your call, it would become yours." She and the others followed Dagger.

 

"So, they'll aid whoever calls upon them huh..." Zidane wondered to himself as Yuri spoke up. "It depends on who uses that power, it can be used to do good or evil." Yuri said to him.

 

"You guys coming or what?" Jecht called back to them.

 

"Yeah yeah, we heard you." Yuri called out to Jecht and walked as Zidane followed suit as he looked at Yuri. "You were amazing though, you did fight evenly with Beatrix." Zidane commented as Yuri touched where he had been slashed by Beatrix's sword.

"Maybe so but I wasn't expecting her to use her attack, I'm lucky to even be alive after that." He said to him quite seriously. "Peharps even more luckier that my Trance activated and lessened the blow."

Zidane nodded and puts his hands behind his head as he walked. "Y'know, Earlier you said Rikku and not everyone else, developing feelings for her are you?" he asked him as Yuri looked at him.

"What about you, you seemed very protective of Dagger at Alexandria despite Queen Brahne ordering her execution." He pointed out and Zidane laughed. "What a way to avoid answering the question and silencing it."

Zidane looked up in the sky and noticed something familar. "...Is that the Red Rose!?" Zidane yelled out as the Red Rose and airships were firing upon Lindblum while Black Mages were teleported within the town and caused chaos.

"Those lights must be telepods! They're sending back mages directly inside the castle! In Cleyra, they used summon magic afterwards..." Zidane trailed off.
