Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Kuja smiled at Dagger. "Yes, an act from a beautiful play... There is a knight on a white horse... ...and a beautiful princess. It is a tale of tragic love. Overcome by grief, the princess must sleep for a hundred years..." he said to her.

 

"I..... I have seen you two before." Dagger looked up at Shuyin, shocked at the man who resembled one of her new friends.

 

"It appears we were destined to meet again. My sweet angel, cometo me. I will take you to a world of dreams." Kuja said and walked closer to Dagger before casting a spell upon her to make her sleep.

"She is beautiful, even in sleep." Kuja noted to everyoen within the room.

 

Dagger slept soundly in Shuyin's arms. Brahne sighed, "Stubborn brat. Zorn, Thorn, prepare to extract the elodions from Garnet."

 

Zorn and Thorn nodded and soon, within another room, The two clowns begun their extraction as the Eidolons were being extracted from within her.

Zidane looked at Freya. "I'm surprised that there even was a sandstorm here to begin with." He said aloud.

 

Freya sighed and looked out.

 

Zidane thought to himself and continued. "Actually, I'm more concerned about who those guys with Brahne in Burmecia was."

 

"Shuyin is from Spira, like most of us. But he thinks I'm Lenee, his lover, just because of the songstress dress. I don't know about the other man."

 

"Zidane, shouldn't we find out what caused the sandstorm to disappear down the trunk?" Yuri asked him as he held onto Rikku and Zidane nodded.

"Hey, I was thinking the same thing! Let's go check it out, although, you do seem a little 'busy' with Rikku Yuri." Zidane pointed out as Yuri soon realised it and blushed a bit. "It's only a natural reaction." he said as Zidane laughed a bit. "Some of us will go down and check while the others can be backup."

 

"Jecht, the Gullwings, Squall, and I will stay here." Braska told them.

 

Zidane nodded. "Then Freya, Vivi, Quina and I will go down and check things out." He said and looked at Yuri. "You coming along or does Rikku want you to stay here?" he said to Yuri as Yuri looked at Rikku.

 

Rikku blushed deeply and let go of Yuri. Yuna silently laughed.

 

Yuri left Rikku as he looked ove rhis shoulder. "Don't worry, We'll be back before you know it." he said to her as Zidane lea dthe way as Quina followed and soon they were walking down the trunk until Alexandrian Soldiers came but a few of them.

"Well, looks like we have uninvited guests." Zidane said as he unsleathed his daggers as Yuri gripped his sword's handle behidn him and drew it out with ease.

 

Freya took her spear, Vivi cast a Fira on the soldiers.

 

Zidane and Yuri attacked a few but soon, there was no Alexandrian Soldiers left. "This is worrying me now..." Yuri said and Zidane looked at him. "What do you mean?"

Yuri looked at the path ahead. "If they were going to amount an attack, why did a few soliders come?" he asked them out loud but then Puck came running into Vivi.

"Ow! Freya! Yuri! The town's in trouble! Ya gotta come back, please!" he said to them and Yuri's fears were confirmed. "Let's go!" he announced and Zidane nodded as Puck lead the way back into town.

 

Jecht and Braska were in the square, killing the black mages that appeared. Yuna, in her Psychic dressphere, was up at the mill with Squall, Rikku was in Lady Luck and fought with Paine who was in Gun Mage.

 

Dan was kileld by a Black mage as the Black mages appeared within teh town, still coming as they shouted one sentence everytime as Zidane and hsi group as Zidane quickly saved some innocent bystanders. "Are there really that many here?"

Yuri ran at a Black mage and pushed it back before slicing it and Zidane looked at the innocent. "Come on, let's get you to a safe place!"

 

Yuna, Rikku, Paine, Braska, Jecht, and Squall ran to them. Rikku quickly changed to Samurai and sighed.

 

Soon, the whole group was at the catherdal with a few more innocents at the Catherdal. "Quick, everyone inside!" Zidane ordered but a Black Mage appeared in frotn of the door then the two exits were occpuied by Black Mages.

"Dammit! We can't save 'em all!" Zidane exclaimed but then a voice spoke. "Minions of evil, you have gone too far! My spear will purge this land of you! You shall fall like leaves in the wind under the force of my blade!" as a stranger leapt down from the catherdal and easily destoryed the mages. "Now run!"

Zidane nodded. "I owe you one, come on!" Zidane lead the group inside.

 

Yuna caught her breath inside the cathedral.
