Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Jecht held the lock of his cloak tight, so it won't fly off his body. Vivi held onto his hat, Yuna held Squall tight with one hand and guided her fayth dog with the other.

 

Zidane walked along the path that was provided and Yuri followed suit until they reached the top area in which it was a town. "A town...?" Yuri thought to himself as someone from the town stepped forward.

"Might you be Lady Freya?" the Forest Oracle asked Freya in the group.

 

"Yes, how did you come to know me?" she asked.

 

The Forest Oracle looked at Freya. "We have awaited your coming, my lady. The king of Burmecia has requested that we guide you to him."

 

"Long live the king! Please take me to him." Freya turned to the others. "Zidane, why not take this opportunity to relax?"

 

A Sand Oracle approached them and looked at Freya. "This way, my lady." as Zidane nodded at Freya. "Yeah, good idea." he said to her as teh Forest Oracle looked at them

"Allow me to be your guide and show you to our town." And Zidane shook hsi head. "No thanks." and Oracle bowed. "I see...I am sorry that I cannot be of service." The Forest oracle left and Zidane looked at the others.

"Kinda strange place, don't ya think? Hey, let's just poke around town a little." he said to them and walked into the town as did Yuri.

 

Rikku led the Gullwings around the town, Jecht, Vivi, and Braska viewed the water mill.

 

Yuri looked around and Zidane walked around and talked to some of the people as one had a messege for him.

"I have a message for Master Zidane from Lady Freya. I was told to convey the following... Zidane! This may take some time, so please wait at the inn!" and Zidane nodded as he headed for teh inn until he heard someone.

"Help!!!" The voice sounded familar as it was Dan from Burmecia and he talked with an Oracle only for it to head to the Catherdal. "Hey buddy, wh-where ya going? These Cleyrans are all so damn lazy!" Dan had noticed Zidane. "You there! Gimme a hand if you think you're good enough!" And Zidane ran, following Dan as Yuri caught the attention as he followed him to area where the antlion was.

"So that's the antlion!" He exclaimed as he drew out his daggers as there was a familar child being held by it as it was Puck. "Aaa! Help me!"

 

Jecht and the others followed him, Jecht unhooked his cloak and charged up a special power. He grew monstrous, and changed completely, Yuna looked at him and sighed.

 

Yuri and ZIdane looked at Jecht, surprised.

 

Jecht roared and attacked the antlion, freeing Puck.

 

Puck was freed and he landed nearby the group. "OW!!! That hurt, ya stupid jerk!" as Zidane prepared himself. "Here it comes!"

The antlion attacked Jecht in order to get back at him.

 

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine changed into their special dresspheres, Jecht dodged the antlion's attack.

 

The antlion breathed in air and blew out a sandstorm towards the group as Zidane crossed his daggers in an effort to guard himself and Yuri did the same as the antlion stared at the three newly changed dressphered girls and blew again but this time some mucus flew at them.

 

The girls dodged and each attacked the antlion. Yuna shouted at Vivi, ""Vivi, fight! That monster is Jecht! But he won't hurt you!"

 

Yuri noticed Vivi's trembling as the Antlion blew out anotehr sandstorm as Zidane jumped and slashed at the Antlion while Yuri defnended and ran at it only to jump on it and stabbed his sword within it before jumping off.

 

Jecht jumped toward the group and changed back to normal. He gasped for air as the girls changed to normal. Braska placed his cloak over his shoulders.

 

The antlion soon the life within it fade and died within the pit as Yuri looked at Jecht as did Zidane.

"What on earth was that?" Zidane asked them.

 

"The Final Aeon. See, long ago, there was a monster called Sin attacking Spira. The only way to stop it was a person to sacrifice themselves as the Final Aeon. For ten years, I lived as Sin and the Final Aeon." Jecht looked at Vivi, a sorry look in his eyes.

 

Yuri thought for a moment. "Yeah, I heard of Sin from Tidus." he said as Zidane looked at Yuri. "What is Sin?" he asked them as he sleathed his daggers. "Sounds to me like something you don't want to mention everyday."
