Baku looked at Dagger and then to Marcus and then to her. "Fine Princess, jus' don't fall behind." as Steiner cursed to himself. "Dammit! I am coming along. It is my duty to protect the princess from bad influence!"

Marcus stared at Steiner. "Do whatever you want."

"Always talkin' about yer duty. Ain't you got any thoughts of yer own?" Baku asked him and Steiner spoke.

"Don't you talk back to me! I am escorting the princess-" and suddenly Baku cut in. "Thought you might've changed after travelin' with Zidane, but...
...you ain't changed. Do you even know why you're here?" he asked him.

"Wh-What do you mean!?" Steiner was about to ask but Dagger interupted them.

"Let's just go, okay?" She said and Baku lead them to a boat he rented. "All righ' get on." he announced.

 

Auron helped Dagger and Lenne borad the boat and he boarded himself.

 

Tidus followed with them

 

Steiner boarded the boat as well as he thought to himself.

"What in the world am I doing...? I'm assisting thieves in committing a crime... No... I must be patient. Protect the princess. Escort her back to the castle. Focus on your duties... Trust the queen. She would never commit an atrocity. There must be a good reason. No thoughts of my own? Nonsense. How can I, a lowly knight, understand the queen's thinking? I need not worry about the ramblings of a criminal. Just think about escorting the princess home. I'll probably never see him again... He was the culprit... He pulled the
princess and me into his intrigues."

 

Tidus was on the boat and sighed as he thought about Yuna

 

Dagger stood at the end of the boat, thinking to herself about why she was doing what she was.

Auron wondered if the regent was mad about him suddenly leaving to help the princess, Lenne just pondered about her little sister and touched her horn.

OCC: If you can guess who Lenne's sister is this early of the second, that good for you.

 

"hey Auron have you ever heard about a place called Zanarkand" Tidus said sitting on the railing of the ship

 

"Yes, I have. I remember being with a powerful summoner and a strong man who claimed to from the holy city." Auron smiled at the memory.

 

The boat soon stopped to a halt to it's destination and Steiner walked onto the dock. "How are we to find Supersoft in this mountain of boxes?" he asked them and Marcus stared at him. "Just find it." He simply replied as they heard footsteps.

"Someone's coming!" He hid behind the boxes

OOC: Aerith's got Doctor Tot!

 

Everyone else hid as a scholarly looking man appeared. "Hmm, I can't believe I ran out of ink."

Dagger recognized the man and walked toward him. "Doctor Tot?"

"Hmm? Oh, princess! It's good to see you again. But what are you doing?" That was a noise from upstairs. "I'll meet you all at my tower, I'll unlock it for you. Now hurry and go!"

 

Marcus sighed and ran back to the boat and jumped onto it as Steiner did the same as the two waited for the others.

 

Lenne and Dagger boarded the boat and then Auron and Tidus.

 

Tidus followed them and crossed his arms and looked at them "ever hear of the name Kuja?" Tidus suddenly said

 

"I think that's what my mother called the strange man who visited her, and the name of his companion......" Dagger took awhile to remember the name when Lenne spoke. "Shuyin?"

 

Tidus looked at Dagger "I don't know why but the name Kuja..............I heard it somewhere" Tidus said

 

"Where?" Auron asked.

 

"I just.......dunno" Tidus said as he held his head

 

Auron waited til they reached the inn.

 

Tidus let go of his head and sighed

 

Lenne and Dagger waited on the boat.
