Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Yuna watched everyone fight Beatrix with Shuyin watching. Soon everyone laid wounded on the ground, and Beatrix didn't even break a sweat. Yuna stared at Shuyin and Kuja.

 

Yuri lay on the ground as the rain soaked him his defeated form. "D-damn...s-she's too strong.." he tried to move a muscule but discovered his body refused to move. "M-move body! MOVE!" he screamed in his thoughts but his body didn't move as he had enough strength to move his head while Zidane was sat on the floor, breathing deeply and exhausted.

Beatrix stared at the opponents she defeated and brushed her hair aside. "There isn't anyone worth a challenge anymore." she simply said to them as Yuri knew they lost completely and soon accepted the fact.

 

Yuna watched as Kuja left to a dragon and Shuyin stayed behind, grinning over her fallen comrades.

Auron watched the scenery pass as he sat in the car. Dagger had fallen asleep beside him.

 

Steiner walked in teh car as he spoke to Dagger.

"The conductor said we'll be arriving at the Summit Station soon. Prin... Ahem, Miss Dagger?" he nearly said out of habit but noticed she was asleep.

"The princess believes what she heard about Queen Brahne. Queen Brahne would never start a war... It's all a misunderstanding. She will see that when she talks to the queen...I need not concern myself with such matters. My only mission is to protect the princess." He thought to himself as the conductor soon annouced they were arriving.

Yuri saw Shuyin's grin and stared at him with a look that Yuna's comrades were going to win, no matter what the situation. "Don't get ahead of yourself..." he said with some strength.

 

Tidus raised his hand and clenched his fist and brought it down in excitement "alright almost there" Tidus said with a smile

 

Kuja flew on his silver dragon to Treno.

 

Shuyin looked at him and walked toward a mechanical dragon whose face resembled Vegenagun. He boarded it and followed Kuja to Treno.

Dagger woke up and stepped off. Auron looked around.

 

Tidus ran off and smiled "come on lets hurry" Tidus said with a smile

 

"It will be alright before the car to Alexandria arrive, lets rest." Auron headed for the rest area, Dagger and Steiner followed.

 

Tidus nodded and followed

 

Auron sat at one of the tables while Steiner charted out their route. Dagger looked at the shops.

 

Tidus sighed and looked around

 

Dagger heard a car arrived and walked out, she saw two familiar men. She followed them back into the rest area, where they ran into Steiner.

 

Marcus and CInna were talking. "I missed my ride! What am I gonna do now!?" Cinna's voice was naturally worried as Marcus shook his head.

"How the heck should I know...? You were the one who wanted to watch the scenery while eating South Gate Bundt Cake." he replied to him.

"I'm gonna be late returning to Lindblum..." CInna said sadly and Marcus looked at his brother. "There's nothing we can do. I won't tell the boss." he said to him and Cinna was smiling as he nodded. "Thanks, buddy! Let's eat another bundt cake!"

Cinna ran into the resting room and Marcus sighed as he followed his comrade,

"Scoundrels!" Steiner pointed at the two who just sat calmly and Cinna looked at Marcus as Steiner continued. "Are you here to kidnap the princess again!?"

"Who's the big tin man?" Cinna asked Marcus as Steiner was insulted. "WHAT!? How dare you!" as Marcus looked at Cinna with a small grin.

"He's the captain of the knights of Pluto." He reminded his brother and Cinna remembered and stared at Steiner. "Oh yeah! You're one bad actor." Cinna simply said.

"Grrr...! Have you no respect?" Steiner was mad to say the least.

 

Auron smiled and stood up. "Good to see you two again."

 

Tidus walked up next to Auron "whats all the noise about" Tidus said and looked at Cinna and Marcus "and who is that" Tidus said

 

Auron smiled and introduced them, "Marcus and Cinna, members of Lindblum's Tantulus Theater Group."

 

"Tantulus...........I remember them. Their boss came up to me once when I was preforming with my ball" Tidus said

 

"Did he ask to join them?"

 

"yup but I declined" Tidus said
