Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"Last I checked, I never picked with a fight with you, besides we only met at Lindblum when we brought Dagger here." Zidane said.

Alexander/Yuri looked at Tidus. "That's if he could, the reason why I'm never found or summoned is because of my power and how dangerous it is." Alexander/Yuri said.

Zidane looked at Tidus. "Besides, I refuse to fight, a kingdom was just destoryed and all you think about is fighting?" Zidane asked him.

 

"that correct now if you wont fight then you deserve to die" Tidus said as he jumped at Zidane and tried to slash him but stopped mid way "w-why wont this body move" Tidus said struggling

 

"What's happened to you, Tidus?! Every time a eidolon is summoned, you change! I can't be around you anymore!" Yuna ran out of the room, tears streaming down her face. Dagger followed her.

 

Zidane had stood perfectly still. "Guess you really aren't trying then, because from what I see, someone is holding you back." He said and Cid stood up in his throne which...didn't really make him any taller.

"That's <gwok> enough! If I see any bloodshed in this castle, I'll detain you, so withdraw your sword Sir Tidus before my men are forced to." Cid said very angrily.

"If you'll excuse me." Alexander/Yuri said and walked out of the room and Cid looked at Jecht. "If you <gwok> can't control your companion, I'll be forced to use action, too many lives are lost already.

Alexander/Yuri soon found Dagger and Yuna as he walked up to them.

 

Jecht bowed at the regent and walked by Tidus, punching him in the gut. He left the room, going after Yuna, Dagger, and Alexander.

Yuna looked at the crumbled church that once stood in the Business District of Lindblum.

 

Tidus sighed "today is not the day. He is holding me back but I have other ways. I know more about you than you know about yourself Zidane" Tidus said as he fell backwards

"I guess he failed" said the voice of what seemed to be a boy

 

Zidane heard Tidus. "What does he mean?" He asked himself.

Alexander had hugged Yuna but he didn't sound royal at all but rather how Yuri speaks. "I'm here Yuna." He said to her quietly.

 

Jecht walked up behind them and smiled. Dagger put a hand on Yuna's shoulder.

 

"its like he said. you know nothing" said a boy who was sitting on the windowsill. He looked like a younger version of Zidane and had something yellow wrapped around his waist

 

Yuri placed Yuna's crying form aginst his chest as he felt her tears upon him.

Zidane and everyone else noticed the boy. "Who are you?" Zidane asked him.

 

"that is another thing for you to ponder" The boy said as he jumped off and walked towards Zidane "My orders are to test your strength" The boy said showing no emotion. HE drew a sword and prepared himself. It was odd seeing a young boy like him with a sword

Tidus layed there unconscious as his hair turned back normal

 

Jecht and Dagger left them alone and helped the townspeople remove the rocks from the church site.

 

Yuri stood there, hodling onto Yuna, letting her cry upon him as he didn't care if he got stares from people. "I'm right here." He said quietly.

Zidane didn't unsleath his daggers. "Sorry, but your orders mean nothing to me and besides, I'm not going to fight you otherwise the old man is going to force me out." he said shrugging.

Steiner looked at the boy. "You are too young to wield such a dangerous weapon, I'd advise you to drop the sword," He said.

 

Yuna held onto Yuri, crying. Jecht and Dagger smiled at them.

 

"Then die" The boy said ready to kil him but then suddenly Tidus got up and blocked the attack. Only this time his hair was purple. Tidus pushed the boy away and the boy slowly got back up. The yellow thing wrapped around his waist unraped and it revealed it was a tail just like Zidane's

 

"The hell is going on here?" Was all Zidane could think and quite frankly, so was everyone in the room.

"S-Sir Tidus?" Steiner asked.

Yuri gently stroked Yuna's hair.

 

The boy looked at them "it seems that I wont be able to take care of my mission due to these....interferences" the boy said and backed away and jumped out the window

Tidus looked over at them his eyes looked like a dragon's "its been a while Braska" Tidus said to Braska

 

Braska groaned, Terya watched the boy leave. 'What's Garland planning?' she thought to herself.

Yuna held onto Yuri. Jecht moved a large boulder and found what looked a keyboard.

 

tidus sighed as he looked at the others "please don't think of Tidus in a negative way. Af you probably found out he has another side taking over. The real Tidus is still there" Tidus said

 

Yuri held onto Yuna. "It's all right now, just calm down ok?" Yuri asked her calmly.

Zidane looked at Tidus. "Who are you now?" ZIdane asked cautiously.

The man brushed his hands together as he was coming out of a weapons store. "Nothing of absoutle interest, honestly."
