Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Tidus looked at the sky "the end is near" Tidus said as he fell unconcious

"You have gone too far, Kuja. I granted you the freedom to do as you wish in Gaia for one purpose alone. Now that you have lost sight of your mission, I will no longer tolerate your actions.I knew this time would come and I made sure to find a way to keep an eye on you. You have not the slightest idea whom you are defying. I will show you soon enough. You too, Zidane" said a mysterious man who seemed to be in control of the eye

 

The grouop soon landed on flat ground as Zidane looked at Dagger. "Dagger... I'm sorry... I don't know why I wasn't honest with you..." he said and looked up the eye. "Let's get out of here!"

Zidane exacuted with the group as did teh castle's residents and the villagers as Alexander's destruction had caused a chain reactin and destory the surrounding village.

Yuri was blown back by the force of the explosion. "Argh!" He crashed onto the floor and covered his head.

Kuja groaned and decided to leave. "Curse you old man." Kuja said.

The man watched the destruction and said nothing.

 

"More souls have returned...In microscopic proportions, the process still continues after thousands of years. Eventually, these circulating souls will no longer belong to Gaia. They must never be circulated back... Kuja did well. If only he had lasted longer... I never imagined he would choose to end his remaining days on Gaia... Perhaps, this was his fate, set in ages past. I, too, cannot escape my fate; someday, I must face your counterpart. Until then I will keep an eye on will use my tool to keep an eye on him" the old man said after the eye destroyed Alexandia

 

Jecht let go of Braska and Yuna and went to find Yuri. He did and picked him up, carrying him to the airhsip.

 

Tidus had gotten blasted away and layed on the ground unconcious. He had some rubble on him

 

Yuri remained out of it as the airship took off with all of it's passengers including Tidus who Zidane found after leaving the castle with the others as Steiner helped aid him btu unknowbest to the group the man snuck aboard,

~In Lindblum, 3 days later~

Yuri's hand twitched and his eyes' opened and surprisingly found himself lying on something comfortable. "A bed? Wasn't I in Alexandria?" He thought to himself.

~Throne Room~

The Minister looked at Cid. "As you can see, the reconstruction is moving right
along." as Cid nodded. "The construction of teh Hilda Grade 3 is goign well to... I'm surprised at how people wish to help rebuild this kingdom."

The Minister smiled. "They are proud citizens of Lindblum sire."

 

Auron walked up and bowed at the regent.

Yuna walked into the room and smiled at Yuri. "Hey, there. We're in Lindblum."

She was wearing the White Mage dress, and sighed.

 

Tidus began to groan as he awoke

 

"Lindblum?" Yuri asked as he sat up and looked around, it was familar. "How long was I out for?" He asked Yuna.

 

"3 days, Jecht found you passed out in the village before it was destroyed. Zidane found Tidus too and we were able to escape on the airship." Yuna watched Jecht carry a bowl of water and a towel, he walked up to Tidus, dipping the towel in the water and placing it on his son's forehead.

 

Yuri's eyes widened. "3 days!?" He looked at Yuna. "I see..." He felt strange but then again, he realised he hasn't moved for 3 days so his body was too relaxed.

"What's happened after the escape?" He asked her, knwoing ALexandria was clearly devasated by the events.

 

TIdus laid on the bed staring at the ceiling as his father placed the towel on his head. He looked like he was in some sort of trance

 

Yuna explained to Yuri everything that happened after they had escaped Alexandria.

 

Tidus listened to the story as he laid there on the bed and stared at the ceiling

 

Yuri sighed and rubbed his hair as he looked at his white mage robe. "I honestly have no comment to what's happened." He said honestly.

Zidane met with Blank who informed him Cid wanted to speak with the party in the royal chamber but Zidane decided to find Dagger first and foudn ehr by the telescope when they last visited.

"Well, look who's here. Man, we went through some crazy stuff, huh? I honestly didn't think I was gonna make it this time. But as you can see, I'm alright now." He said to her and noticed her silence. "Dagger... Is something wrong?" He asked her.

The man walked through the streets of Lindblum as he listened to passerbys. "Now what should I do? Gather infomation?" he asked himself.

 

Yuna nodded and sighed, thinking about the summoning of Alexander.

Dagger stayed silent, thinking of the destruction of Alexandria.

 

Yuri looked at Yuna. "That was...Alexander...the Eidolon of Judgement right?" He asked her, noticing her suprised expression since in Yuna's World, she didn't encounter Alexander at all.

"I don't know how I know his name...but I heard something before that eye struck Alexander." He said quietly.

Zidane looked at her. "Ohhh, okay. You're so happy to see me, you don't know what to say. I didn't know you loved me so much." He said to her and thought "Did I do something wrong...?" Alright, what did I do wrong? He asked her.

 

Yuna nodded at him, knowing as well as him Alexander wasn't one of the aeons she received her pilgrimage. Jecht turned to them, "I think I heard him talking to me before that eye appeared. I guess it shouldn't be surprising since I'm a aeon myself and basically eidolons and aeons are the same thing, summons."

Dagger remained quiet, thinking all the people who died in the destruction.

 

"Did he sound...royal?" Yuri asked Jecht.

...Maybe she's just tired. A lot has happened since Brahne's death...I'd better cheer her up. thought Zidane and spoke. "Hey, remember that promise we made before the festival? You still owe me a date. Come on. Let's go."

 

"Yeah, he sounded royal."

Dagger nodded and took Zidane's hand.
