Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

"It's Bahamut. I know. Beatrix, gather our troops! We need to protect the people!" Dagger ordered her. Braska and Yuna ran to her and stared at the destruction.

Seymour nodded and stared.

Jecht gathered Lenne, Shuyin, and Vivi and went to the airship.

 

"Yes, Your Highness! Our soldiers have already assembled and await your orders." Beatrix said

~Inner Area of the castle~

"HURRY UP, YOU FOOLS! This is an emergency! Get your act together before the princess arrives! Line up!!!" Steiner ordered to his men.

Garnet and Beatrix soon arrived. "Your Highness, as you can see, we are ready to act at any time. Please give your orders." Beatrix said as Yuri stared at Bahamut.

"This certainly won't be easy." He thought.

 

Garnet ordered each pair of soldiers for specific duty. Braska, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine stood by her side.

 

"You were splendid, Your Highness." beatrix said as she handed Garnet a pair of Angel Earrings.

"Everyone, let's go!" Steiner said and ran as Beatrix soon followed as Yuri looked at Steiner. "Who made him leader?" He said jokingly as he followed them.

 

Garnet sighed and prayed for her mother's help. Suddenly, her good luck charm, along with Yuna's and Braska's, began to glow and the three summoners fainted.

 

"i-its bahamut?"Tidus said as he held is head and yelled out in pain

 

Steiner saw Braska and Yuna faint. "Master Braska! Lady Yuna!"! Steiner said as he stabbed a Mistodon in the town and beatrix cut through another with relative ease. "We're already down by two people, Steiner! Help me move them out of harms way!" She said and Steiner nodded a she shealthed hsi sword to carry Braska out of danger as Beatrix done the until a Mistodon came from behind them until Yuri shot it with his gun.

"Go, I'll take care of this." Yuri said before twirling the guns within his hands and Steiner spoke. "We'll return!" Steiner and Beatrix carried the two to the castle entrance and then Yuri felt a little out of place for a minute but soon regained his concertation as he shot two more Mistodons with Potshot.

"This is just the begining, let's go!" Yuri said as more Mistodon's came down the pathway.

~Airship, Hilda Grade 2~

Zidane looekd at Cid. "This ship's rocking badly." He said as Zidane, Eiko and Jecht informe dthe others and just started heading to Alexandria with Cid.

"It can't be helped. I designed this ship as an oglop, after all. So, I have no <gwok> idea what could happen." He said as Zidane looked at him. "Sounds like it'll crash any minute."

The man stared at the smoking village of Alexandria from a lake. "This is certainly unexpected." he said.

 

Just then a firaga hit the Mistodons ahead of them and Tidus walked past Yuri with his armor on and white hair. He looked serious

 

Yuna, Braska, and Garnet woke up and followed the sound of mysterious yet beautiful melody playing to the roof of the castle. A stairway appeared in front of them, and they climbed up.

Vivi past Eiko and Lenne when their good luck charms began to glow. Jecht noticed. "Your charms......."

"We can hear Dagger..... Braska..... Yuna...... They're calling us....." Lenne and Eiko walked out to the front of the ship.

 

"Hey, what are you two doing!?" Zidane said to them.

~Alexandria~

Yuri stared at Tidus calmly and wondered if he was in control of his power until Yuri heard something, it sounded majestic to him and he looked around, finding no-one. "Am I imagining things?" He thought to himself

The man was walking towards Alexandria where Mistodon's were running through the entrance from the land as the man placed his belt on his waist and pulled out a card. "Transform!" He said and slid the card in as the belt spoke. "Form Card...Battle!" As the man's armour suddenly appeared upon him and he puleld out his stranger weapon and switched it to gun mode as he fired off a few bullets, catching some attention from the Mistodons.

"I'll take you on..." He said as he shot a few more bullets again.

 

Lenne and Eiko ignored him and jumped off, their charms glowing brighter. Yuna, Braska, and Garnet's charms began to glow brighter, suddenly the five summoners came face to face.

"Lenne, Eiko, what's going on?" Garnet asked, Lenne smiled. "Dagger, this is the light of a summoner's destiny. Something is calling out to the five of us, because we are summoners."

Then the five of them got on their knees and held out their hands, praying the eidolon, Alexander, afterward they brought their hands together and prayed harder. A bright light appeared and suddenly, two pairs of bright white angelic wings appeared on the castle.

Seymour gasped and smiled. "That's the most powerful eidolon, Alexander........"

~

Jecht gasped when he saw the wings and heard something in his head.

 

"damn it Kuja wont succeed" Tidus said looking at Alexander

Ooc: for a future note I would appreciate it if Garland is played only by me (I have plans for him)

 

Yuri stared in amazement at Alexander. "...Whoa..." Was all eh coudl say as he had no other words in his mouth and quickly shot a Mistodon before it attacked him. "What am I hearing though?" He thought to himself, he couldn't place it.

Bahamut soon shot a Mega Flare upon Alexander who shielded itself and the town as the attack didn't seem to have any effect on him and then it spread it's wings open before shooting out blue light and soon Bahamut was killed.

Kuja smiled. "It's so beautiful... Alexander...the legendary eidolon... So, you wish to defend the castle with your brilliant wings...? How admirable... Your powers even transcend Bahamut's... Alexander, I've been waiting for you. I've called a magic carriage for you. I'm sure you'll like it. Invincible, come forth! You're mine, Alexander!" Kuja declared as an eye scope appeared in the sky.

Ryrin looked at Seymour. "Most powerful? I thought the Dragon King was the strongest of all." he said.

~

The man slashed an Mistodon with his book in sword mode before gazing at the sight of Alexander. "Well, that's new." he said before runnign his hand across the blade and slashed another Mistodon.

 

The five summoners wondered why Alexander's bright light was covered, Dagger looked up and gasped. It was the eye that destroyed the village.

"Maybe, but who thought have thought a eidolon was within a castle?"

~

Jecht pondered if the voice he was hearing was the eidolon.

 

Yuri stared up at the sky. "The hell is that...?" He thought before sidestepped a attack by a Mistodon and shot it until he hear dthe voice again. "Who is speaking to me!?" He aske din his thoughts until he heard a reply and Yuri looked at the wings. "Could it be...you?" he thought before siderolled.

Cid and the others soon arrived in Alexandria Castle. "Come on, guys. We made it here in one piece. That's all that matters." He said and Cid nodded before a knight asked wher eher Highness was but he was told they were searching too as he left as Zidane lead the others to the top floor.

"Kuja may be destorying this castle, so you guys better get out of here, I'll rescue Dagger." He said to them

Ryrin nodded. "It's certainly an incredible surprise, it took out the King of Dragons with one attack." Ryrin noted.

~

The man notice dthe Mistodon were leaving due to the eye in the sky as well as Alexander's appearance. "Why am I getting the feeling that this won't end well?" he thought to himself.

 

Jecht patted Zidane's shoulder. "Shuyin and I are going as well. For Yuna and the rest."

Seymour continued to watch.

Eiko walked away for moment and looked at something. Something was trying to grab Dagger, she struggled. Yuna and the other summoners turned and ran to her, but were knocked away. The sword broke the stone floor and separated the summoners. Dagger nearly cried.

 

Zidane nodded and rna upstairs until he saw teh Summoners were seperated. "Dagger!" He ran and leapt onto the crumbling platform and grabbed ahold of Dagger as he smiled.

Yuri watched the Eye do something to Alexander and he held his head. "Is it being...killed? He looked up before he heard it's voice clearly. "Young man...allow me to live on within you..." It said and Yuri felt something strange inside of him and he fell to the ground, breathing.

 

Shuyin had grabbed Lenne and Eiko held onto his neck tightly, Yuna wrapped her arms around Jecht's neck and he grabbed Braska's hand. Dagger smiled and hugged him.

 

Zidane grabbed ahold of Dagger and grabbed ahold of some rope hanging as the two were lifted off from the crumbling platform as the two amde it to safety.

Yuri stood up as he saw the Mistodons retreating. "Now why are they doing that...unless!" He thought to himself looked at the eye. "Alexandria's going to take a huge blast!" He said in shock.

The man watched the sight. "No use taking on that huge thing." He said and removed his belt as he reverted to normal.

~

Ryrin looked the sphere. "Kuja seems very worried...could something have gone wrong?" He asked Seymour

 

Shuyin and Jecht grabbed onto the rope and were lifted away with Zidane.

Seymour watched.
