Final Fantasy IX/X-2: Melodies of the Gullwings

Tidus was still unconcious from the event. He had many wounds from the blow from Bahamut

 

Zidane was in town, lying down in bed while Yuri was in his usual attire with his back against a wall in town as he stared up at the castle as people passed him by as some talked about the unfortunte passing of Brahne.

"...This is a cruical moment for the kingdom...and now Dagger has to bear the burden of ruling Alexandria." He thought to himself.

 

Dagger walked down the steps of the grave site with Braska, thinking about how now she might bear the responsibilities of ruling the kingdom. Seymour was at the bottom of the steps, pretending to have a sad look on his face. Dagger walked to the end of the dock and looked up at the castle. She knew she was gonna miss the new friends she made, but she must live up to her responsibilities. She turned back to the others and smiled, making fists, reassuring herself her mother would be avenged.

 

Tidus began to toss and turn in his sleep as if something was troubling him

 

Soon the day passed and upon the next morning, words of Garnet's crowning spread like wildfire as in three days, Garnet would become the new Queen and Zidane found himself depressed as he was in the bar with Marcus, Blank and Cinna.

Yuri meanwhile, was walking around the town to get fresh air.

A boat docked at Alexandria castle with Dagger's crew upon it as Doctor Tot stepped off.

"Princess, we have arrived at the castle." Tot said and Beatrix stared at him. "She won't be a princess for much longer, Doctor Tot." She commented and Tot laughed.

"Ha ha ha... Indeed. I shall have to call you 'Queen Garnet' after the coronation. I must make preparations for the crowning of our new queen. General Beatrix, Master Steiner, will you help her?" He asked them as the two saulted in response.

 

Auron helped Dagger get out, she smiled. "Sir Auron, I can't thank you enough for being here for the kingdom and me."

"Regent Cid would have wanted me to help you in your time of need, your highness."

Jecht entered the bar and sat with them.

 

Tidus continued to move around in his sleep "whats going on?" Tidus muttered as he slept

 

Doctor Tot looked at Dagger. "Princess... I know how hard this must be. But I will be by your side. Please take the throne with full confidence." He said as Steiner breathed.

"Three more days until the crowning of a new queen... What a day!" he said.

Zidane was talked to by Ruby who left him alone.

"What happened? Maybe that Dagger chick dumped him." Marcus said as Zidane didn't speak a word and Cinna looked at Marcus. "Bingo."

 

"What can you expect?" Jecht said, taking a sip of his drink. "They're from two very different social classes."

 

Tidus suddenly awoke and looked around panting as if he had a strange dream. HE looked around wondering where his is and then jumped up to his feet

 

Blank was talked to Ruby about her new mini-play as Marcus nodded. "Guess that's true." He said and Cinna nodded. "Guess we'll head off with Ruby to watch this new play of hers, I doubt Zidane's gonna come along anyway." He said.

 

Seymour walked up and took Garnet away. Yuna looked at him and sighed, staring out at the village. "What am I going to do? Sooner or later, I'll have to face Tidus in his dark form. But how can I? I love him too much." Suddenly, someone wracked her on the head, it was Rikku in the white mage dress, Yuna groaned. "Rikku, what in the name of Spira was that for? It hurt!"

"Who cares, Yunie? It was in the past."

"It still hurt!"

"The past can hurt, but you should know you can run from it or learn from it." Yuna sighed and smiled. (OCC: I think from that wrack on Yuna's head, Rikku's been to visit a certain monkey)

Jecht nodded and sighed.

 

Tidus ran past Yuna but then ran back to her. It seemed he was in a rush "yuna? what are you doing here. More importantly what am I doing here" Tidus said

 

Marcus, Cinna Blank and Ruby exited the bar and Blank was run into by someone. "Oof! Oh hey Vivi!" Blank said to the black mage.

Yuri sat down on the floor as he didn't have any jobs to do at the moment. "Renewed hope for the town huh...Burmecia's slowly being rebuilt as well as Lindblum." Yuri said as he noticed an Alexandrian solider approach him. "What's this all about now?" He aske dhimself in his thoughts

"General Beatrix wishes to talk with you." The Alexandrian solider said and judging by the appearance and sound it was a male as Yuri got up and brushed off his clothes.

"Well, this is certainly a surprise, I can't say no to the greatest in the Kingdom now can I, lead the way." He said as the Solider lead Yuri to the Castle.

 

"You're at Alexandria Castle.......... Home of Her Royal Highness, Queen Garnet til Alexandros....... I'm one of her protectors." Yuna sighed.

Vivi smiled. "Hey, there. Where's Jecht? I've been waiting for him."

 

"garnet is queen?" Tidus said confused. Many questions filled his head but he didn't have time for them "where is Auron" Tidus said with a serious look

 

"Oh him, he's in the bar with Zidane." Blank said to him.

~Dagger's Room-

Steiner, Tot, Beatrix and Dagger stood within the room.

 

Seymour walked up with a crown in his hands. "I can't possibly this is what you'll in three days, your highness." Dagger nodded and sighed.

Yuna led him to Auron. "Sir Auron, a visitor for you." Auron stared at Tidus.

Vivi nodded. "I'll wait for him in the theater." Vivi headed downstairs.

 

tidus suddenly ran up to Auron and held him by his shirt coller "alright answer me what happened to zanarkand. Who is Sin" Tidus said very angry

 

Auron explained to him what happened when Sin appeared in Zanarkand and what happened to Tidus after that.
