Kuja said as the Sliver Dragon responded to Kuja's wishes.

"We'll pass the trunk if we go farther. Kuja went down that trunk." Zidane said as he looked at them.

"How are we getting up there?" Yuri asked and Zidane looked at them, dumbfolded. "Can't we climb?" He asked.

 

"You guys will have hold onto one of the Berserkers, since I'm riding Jecht." Yuna held onto tight as Jecht climbed the trunk. Auron grabbed Anns, Braska held onto Paine, Vivi gripped Dagger, and Squall held Dani. Rikku looked toward Yuri.

 

Yuri chuckled and bent down. "Get on Rikku." He said.

Zidane looked at Amarant who grabbed Eiko and Vivi and carried them with ease as Zidane looked at dagger. "Guess it's piggyback Dagger."

 

Lenne grabbed Shuyin, Rikku got on Yuri's back, and Terya sighed, following everyone.

 

"The weak lose their freedom to the strong. Such is the way of the strong. And it is the providence of nature that only the strong survive. That is why I needed strength. I learned of powers that would daunt even him...over ten years ago. Such a long time... Now my forces are ready to strike! Ahh... The suspense is terrible! So they've come this far, have they? Perfect. I'll warm up on them until the elephant-lady shows up." Kuja said.

Yuri climbed up with simple ease. "Great! We're here!" Zidane said

 

Yuna hopped off Jecht and he changed to normal, all the girls changed to a different dressphere. Yuna changed to Samurai and gripped the sword.

 

Yuri felt his clothing change as he wore a usual white samurai armour and helmet as at his side was a black katana slealth witha white handle and Yuri wobbled a bit as he felt the armour's weight but it also covered a memory of Yuna's at the same time.

"Well...this is certainly new." Yuri said as Zidane looked at the group. "Let's go." he said and lead them to Kuja stood on a trunk of the tree patiently.

 

Seymour sat on Shuyin's dragon, smiling as he saw the group run up. "Here comes your old partner, Kuja."

 

"hello there Kuja" said Tidus walking up to him with his armor and white hair

 

"Oh? Is that so? and welcome new actor to the play." Kuja said and turned to look at the group. "A rat has flocked into a new group in an attempt to protect itself..." He said and looked at Dagger.

"Ah, the Princess has joined the stage..." Kuja said as she questioned him about if he persuaded her mother to start the war. "The war that threw the entire Mist Continent into chaos?" He asked and noticed the look of Vivi.

"Oh, dear... The princess has such a bloodthirsty little puppet. I don't have the power to do such a thing. I just gave them a little
recipe. Begin with broth of Mist, add fermented souls, and boil... Then,
pour genuine black magic into a mixing bowl and heat to-" He was cut off suddenly by Vivi who yelled at him to stop.

"I'm not done telling how to make soulless toys out of the dregs of souls!" Kuja said as Zidane looked at him. "Dregs of souls? You mean Mist!?" he asked in surprise.

"First, you don't want to listen, now you start asking question? Oh, brother... But you're not ready yet!" He claimed to them as Yuri tightened the grip on his sleathed sword. "Do you know how many lives were lost!?" He asked him

"Spare me the lecture. Lives come and go all the time. What's the big deal? Speaking of warmongers, why...what about that mother of yours, Princess? She said she won't feel alive until she has everything! It breaks my heart to see such greed! The war was my fault? No, no! Your mother wanted it! All I did was give her a little push!" Kuja said to her.

 

Seymour stared at Tidus and sighed, Yuna gripped the ball with one arm and the sword in her other hand. Vivi gripped his staff as Jecht took out his sword, ready to protect him. "Sir Jecht is truly a brave man, protecting such a hated object." Seymour glared at him.

 

"Mwahaha... So the curtain rises! Perfect, my canary. Let me show you the truth about your mother! First Act: The End of the Ugly Desire. It's showtime!" Kuja announced and Yuri looked somewhere. "Uh guys, look at the ocean!" He said as there was a fleet of Alexandrian ships.

 

Tidus began to laugh like a mad man. "this is perfect. So much death is going to arrive" tidus said as he laughed

 

Dagger gasped, along with Braska, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine, as she also noticed the ships.

~Aboard the ship~

"Now I will show that pretty face Kuja what real power is!" Brahne held up a garnet and a mighty looking dragon appeared. Yuna gasped, despite how different it looked from the aeon she received in Bevelle, she knew what it was. "Bahamut....... King of Dragon......"

 

"Your mother isn't satisfied with just one continent! Her ugliness and stupidity are truly impressive. Ahh...everything is proceeding as I have foreseen." Kuja said as Zidane unsleathed his daggers. "WHat are you talking about!?" He asked

"You're just the opening number. Time for the real show." Kuja said as Zidane glared at him. "We won't let you get away!"He said as Kuja looked at the group.

"The Mist may be created no more, but it still lurks in caves and forests, right?" he asked them and Yuri looked at him. "What the hell are you talking about?" he asked.

"I can make monsters with magic! Come forth, spawn of Mist!" Kuja said and called upon the Mistodons and bowed. "It's time for my grand entrance. please be occupied with the prelude before the opening." Kuja said as he hoppe don the Sliver Dragon anf it soared away.

 

Yuna gasped as one of the Mistodons tried to attack, but she saw Squall trying to protect her. She gasped, her orphan son had entered Trance and he looked much older than before.

 

"Did he grow up too quickly?" Zidane asked as he sliced a Mistodon with hsi dagger and Yuri ran at one as he quickly unsleathed his sword and sliced sideways and was sleathing his sword as the Mistodon remained still then he sleathed it as it was cut in half, dead.

 

Yuna killed another Mistodon and caught Squall as he fainted, his Trance died out and he was back to normal. She smiled, and noticed Dagger stared at the fleet.

 

Kuja laughed.as his Sliver Dragon descended to become a clear target to Bahamut.

"We gotta split before we get dragged in." Zidane said.

 

Shuyin groaned and ran down a path to stop Bahamut, Yuna followed him. Dagger stared at them.

Bahamut used Mega Flare on him.
