Final Days of Tomorrow

"Apples... again" She dug one out from her bag " Can you hold it or is your hand injured as well... if it is I'm going to have to feed you" She teased

 

"Pssh...Me need to be fed? Ha, I can eat myself." Xen said taking the apple and breaking it in four. "Gotta save some for the other two, right?" He suggested.

 

"Yeah, the love birds ...uhh..... I mean Miku and Kin... " Yuki giggled

 

"More like one sided." Xen added and looked around "Why do I just KNOW hunters are gonna be after me? Wait, That's right I killed one of their pilots." He thought.

 

"Show off" Yuki stopped. Her eyes looked blank for a bit " I hear people coming.... let's walk faster" She said, doubling her pace.

 

"How'd they find me? A tracking chip?" He wondered still walking equal pace with Yuki and trying to force his foot to move quicker.

 

" I don't know.." Yuki's eyes wandered off to Xen's leg. " Okay, don't force yourself" She then created an ice barrier right behind where they stood " That should hold 'em off"

 

Xen started twisting his leg left and right untill he heard a crack "Finally!" He said standing up and focused his hand towards the forest and his knife appeared in his hand "I almost totally forgot I could do that." He thought and looked at Yuki "They break this thing down then I'm going to kill them all." He said putting the knife in his pocket and summoning a black sword that almost looked like diamonds.

 

" Xen, are you sure? I'm worried that you'll get hurt again. If you do want this I'll help you.... I just don't want you hurt , okay?" Yuki said, gripping Xen's arms tighter. " Please be careful"

 

"Relax. You're not gonna die and neither am I. I'll make sure of it." Xen replied "Also with the force of your hands you're breaking my arm." Xen thought with a crooked smile on his face.

 

"Oh! Umm.. sorry" Yuki smiled and let go of his arm. She got her Large Shuriken and stared directly at the forest.

 

The hunters will just about ready to kill both of them because they kept kicking and shooting at the ice with the intent for murder and Xen walked back a bit "Well, Good to know they want us certainly dead. No questions asked." Xen thought as he noticed some bullets coming through and he blocked them with his sword.

 

Yuki threw her shuriken like a boomerang. It broke through the barrier and cut off some of the hunter's heads and injured some. The shuriken came spinning back toward Yuki and she caught it with her right hand.

 

Xen quickly charged out and slashed one of them and kicked up the hunter's gun to his hand "G'Day to you sirs!" He mocked beginning to shoot at them.

 

Yuki laughed and cut off the heads of the remaining hunters.

 

"Well! That's less than I th-" Xen was cut off by the explosion the helicopter caused as he fell on the ground and his wound opened back up.

 

"Zen!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yuki screamed in horror as she ran to help her injured friend. She knelt down beside him "Xen, please tell me your okay..."

 

"GAH! Darn that copter!" Xen yelled holding his leg "Grrr....My leg!" Xen thought.

 

Yuki quickly got a piece of cloth and covered the wound. She put ice cubes on Xen's leg and wrapped a bandage around the leg. Finally, she put her bag under Xen's foot " Elevation.... might lessen the blood flowing out of that wound..."

 

"I hope." Xen said and looks towards the city "I'm an idiot, That's it." He thought smacking himself in the head making himself dizzy "I forgot not to do that!".
