Final Days of Tomorrow

Miku sighed, "His name was Afra, one of the reasons why I was living but also the reason why I died and just maybe the reason why I got a second life." she explained finally.

 

Kin stopped his laughter, his stupidity and he had his eyes as big as plates at this point "Afra?" he asked, looking at her still.

 

"Yeah, what's wrong?" she asked finally turning to him.

 

"I think...I'm him...that name was stuck in my head the moment I got the second chance at life..." he replied looking away, his face was uncertain of what he knew.

 

Miku stared at him for a moment, then shook her head with a smile on her face. "Stop trying already, would ya?" she said laughing slightly with a smile on her face as she stood up. She stretched a bit. "I think we should get back to Yuki." she added, not believing him at all.

 

"I'm serious." he said in a deep tone, he looked up at her and stood up, he was taller than her now. "I remember most of what happened when I first got my second chance at life, I think my name is Afra." he said, he looked at her and had his hand on her shoulder.

 

Miku stared at him again, "That's impossible. I searched all over for yo-- I mean him when I died. Couldn't find his soul anywhere. He couldn't have died." she objects. She had second thoughts in this, part of her thought that it could have been possible that he was Afra but she just couldn't believe it herself.

 

"All right, one, I know I am not lying, and second, what in the world is the problem with me being the guy you liked when you were alive?" he replied, staring down at her.

 

"Well..." she hesitated, that caught her off guard. 'N-nothing! I'm just having a hard time believing it that all!" she snapped after a pause.

 

Kin hesitated for a bit, then he got an idea "All right...how's about we fight, that should clear things up...if I win, you accept the fact I'm Afra, you win...I believe your facts." he said as his reply, he pulled out his blade "Well, how's about it? No weapons, just fists." he threw his sword on the ground.

 

"Alright fine." she said, "I won't use any thorns or such either." she agreed, getting into a battle stance.

 

Kin smirked, he had already been in a battle stance, he was the first to strike, had he been more gentle, it would mean not killing, yet he didn't be gentle, he played his fist rough to Miku. His punch his her chest.

 

Luckily Miku got to dodge it, bending down. She lay a punch to his stomach.

 

Kin jumped over her and dodged "Nice try!" he kicked her in the butt when he landed on his feet.

 

Miku wasn't quick enough to dodge that but she flipped over after getting kicked. "And I thought fists only." she said as she lunged to him, sending a flurry of kicks at him as she jumped up, kicked, landed, kicked again, then jumped up, kicked, flipped.... She picked up her speed when she fought like this..

 

Kin tried dodging most of these kicks and punches, but couldn't. He couldn't keep his speed up fast enough, so he kept getting hit. "Ghg!" he gritted, leaving nothing to block, so he hit a tree after the last punch.

Miku landed back on her feet, panting. It was a long time since she's been fighting like that. With using her kicks and punches only, she fell sitting down on the ground. "My win~" she panted with a grin on her face.

Kin wasn't moving, he just looked down at the ground, his eyes were lifeless, almost. He didn't talk, he still was alive, yet he couldn't feel the weakest part of his entire body...his heart. I don't get it...how could I lose? He thought.

 

Miku got up to her feet and smiled, "You can't underestimate me." she said and walked up to him. She stopped right in front of Kin but said nothing and simply looked at him.

 

Kin didn't look up at her, he thought this would prove his statement, even he forgot how to balance the entire equation out. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled under his breath.
