    I like Stephen King and one of my favorite books was The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.

    That book was FANTASTIC. Real, funny, serious, suspenseful, and it ripped my heart out. I love that book.

    there are many, but i will limit this to only J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan) and Ray Bradbury (Fahrenheit 451 + many short stories). oh, also George Orwell (1984 and Animal Farm).
