Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return

Sora gave a nod to his friend, a grin on his face as he wrapped Ty's leash around his right hand a few times. But then he heard Kairi's question, which made his grin fade slightly. How was this going to work...?

"I could walk away and call him," Namine said to her friends. "If I call a certain way, he'll come running." Ty was good at deciphering her tone of voice, so she was sure she'd be able to get him to run towards her.

 

Roxas was looking at Namine as she spoke, and he nodded at her words. Yup, that would do the trick. Ty always ran to Namine whenever she yelled his name. And when she did, Roxas was expecting something pretty interesting to happen here.

Kairi kept her hands behind her back, smiling slightly. "Okay," she said with a small nod. Whatever was going to occur, she hoped Sora was ready. Ty could be pretty unpredictable...

 

Sora turned to Namine, liking her idea. "Alright, let's do it," he said with a smile. He wasn't sure exactly how things would play out, but he was excited to see what the outcome was going to be.

Namine nodded, a smile on her lips. "Be ready," she warned Sora, her eyes landing on the dog after a moment. Ty looked happy, and since he was already excited, he was probably already itching to go for a run. The girl turned around and started down a path, knowing she had to be a bit away for this to work out.

 

Roxas backed up one step to make a little space. He was ready to see this.

Kairi saw Roxas step back and she followed his lead without much thought, taking a step back herself. In case Ty went a little crazy, she didn't want to be in the line of fire.

 

Sora set his feet, his eyes wandering from Namine to Ty. The dog already had his eyes on his master, so Sora was sure this plan was going to unfold smoothly. The question was, would Sora be able to handle the strong pooch?

Once Namine was a fair distance away, she turned to face her friends again. "Ready?" she called, asking if Sora was ready for what was in store for him.

"Ready!" Sora hollered back, lifting his free hand to give Namine a signal. Here we go, he thought, preparing himself for the worst.

 

Roxas crossed his arms, looking from his friend to the girl he loved a pretty good distance from them. Sora seemed prepared, so maybe he would handle this pretty well. But still, Roxas hoped to have it proven to his friend that Ty wasn't a very weak mutt. Hopefully, though, Sora wouldn't end up dragged across the grass because of it.

Kairi bit her lip in anxiousness as she glanced from Namine to Sora, ready to see the action unfold.

 

Namine smiled, nodding her head faintly. "Ty!" she called, patting her leg a few times with her hand. "Cmon boy! Come here!" she shouted excitedly, hoping her hollering would get the pet to rush right over.

There was an immediate reaction on Sora's side. Ty wagged his tail and took a giant leap forward, trying to get a head start on a sprint over to Namine. Sora gripped the leash tightly and pulled Ty back, his shoes moving slightly on the path.

 

Roxas couldn't help it. He instantly started chuckling, bringing a light fist to his mouth to try to hold it back. But the sudden jerk of Sora's body at the pull of the leash was too funny, along with the expression that had been on his face.

Kairi's eyes widened slightly at the sudden tug of the leash, the girl watching as Sora was close to being dragged across the path.

 

Sora wasn't sure if he was allowed to talk and try and calm Ty down or not, but that would have defeated the purpose, anyway. He felt Ty try again, and this time, Sora had to take a step forward to hold the dog back. Ty was pretty strong; The brunet could see why Roxas was having a hard time earlier.

Namine giggled, bringing a hand to her lips. Even from afar, it was plain to see that Sora was having a bit of difficulty keeping Ty back.

 

Roxas continued to chuckle despite his efforts to keep it quiet. For some reason, this was just very funny to him. Perhaps because he saw something like this coming...

Kairi pressed her lips together, even though she was smiling. Poor Sora. He had been prepared, and he seemed to be handling it pretty well. But it was still obvious that he was struggling a little bit.

 

Sora brought up his left hand and gripped the leash, the teen giving Roxas a look. It was all in good fun, though. His friend had warned him something like this would happen, and he was ready to accept whatever teasing came his way.

"Ty!" Namine called again, a wide smile on her lips. She wasn't sure how much more Sora wanted to be put through, but one more shout would excite Ty even more than he already was.

In Sora's grasp, Ty tried moving forward again. Sora took a step back to keep the dog near him, gritting his teeth while he did. Ty was a strong dog, and he was having a hard time controlling him.

 

Roxas saw Sora's look and he instantly tried to quiet his laughter. He succeeded, if only for a short while. It grew again when Namine called for Ty a second time, and Sora started fighting for control.

Kairi brought a hand to her mouth to hide her amused smile. Unlike Roxas, she was able to keep herself quiet. But she had to admit, seeing Sora dealing with Ty and watching Roxas's reaction--they were both very entertaining. Poor Ty, though. He was so excited to run to Namine. Hopefully when this thing was over Sora would let him go and let him finally run to his owner.

 

Sora grinned and looked over at Roxas, still keeping a tight grip on Ty. "Did I do good enough?" he asked his best friend. He wanted permission to release Ty to his master now. After all, it was unfair to the poor dog to be kept from running to Namine for no good reason.

 

Just gotta ask. Is it just you two in this entire RP? And are you allowing others to join?

 

We're the only two actively involved. This is our fourth thread, and for the first two, other people were parts of it. But after a while they all dropped out. And unfortunately, for people to fully understand a lot of the things going on in this RP, they would need to read over the other thousands of posts that we've done. I doubt people would want to do that, and it's impossible for them to do anyway, since one of the threads is deleted. For those reasons, we politely request that others don't join.

 

Roxas held back his laughs in order to answer, nodding. "Yup, you pass," he said with an amused smirk. He chuckled once more before his eyes found Namine quite a ways from them. Ty really wanted to go see her, and since Roxas had seen enough out of this for one day, he was alright with it being through.

 

Sora smiled widely, holding Roxas' gaze. "Good," he said with a smirk. He looked down at the dog he was holding, who was still fighting to get free but was too tired to do it wholeheartedly. "Go get her, boy," he told the dog softly, unwinding the leash and letting the dog run free.

Namine's eyes widened when she saw the golden retriever rushing towards her at a great speed. "Ty!" she called, trying to get him to slow down. The poor dog didn't understand the command and he came crashing in, knocking against Namine's legs. She fell on her bottom, the pet sniffing her face and wagging his tail in pleasure.

 

Roxas's eyes widened and he chuckled in amusement at Ty's actions. The dog sent Namine to the ground and sniffed at her face, causing Roxas's soft laughter to continue. He then moved his feet forward, starting to jog toward her and Ty's position to make sure she was okay. He was sure she was, but his protective side was kicking in again, even if it was just Ty.

Kairi found herself giggling a little when Ty ran into Namine, but she was laughing because it was cute how the pet held so much enthusiasm and excitement when he saw his owner. She always wondered what it would be like to get a pet, and she supposed that now she knew.

 

Namine brought up a hand, gently pushing Ty's wet nose away from her face. "Ty," she scolded, a little upset the dog hadn't understood her command. She'd have to work on teaching him how to understand tone of voice...if that was possible. She shrugged off her former emotion and put on a small smile, petting Ty's ear. He was just a dog, so she couldn't expect him to be absolutely perfect.

Sora chuckled softly, seeing Namine and her pet together. He turned to face the girl beside him, but she too was looking at the dog. "C'mon," he said softly. He started to walk towards the dog, trusting Kairi would be right behind him.

 

Kairi looked to Sora, her smile softening some as she started to walk. She was just a few steps behind him, but she was still within close proximity.

Roxas slowed down as he approached his girlfriend and the dog, the blond walking as he caught his breath a little. He stopped next to them, smiling down at the two in amusement. "You alright?" he asked, the emotion he was experiencing evident in his voice.
