Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return

Sora chuckled and set his hand in Kairi's hair, ruffling it slightly to get the sugar in further. Kairi's shocked expression was so adorable that he couldn't keep himself from grinning widely.

 

Kairi looked at the boy in front of her, eyes instantly narrowing. She brought up her flour covered hands and pushed against his chest playfully, pushing him away from her.

 

Sora's hand came out of Kairi's hair, his eyes widening slightly when he noticed the flour now on his shirt and apron. "Hey!" he cried playfully, reaching for the nearby flour. If it was a war she wanted, then that was what she would get.

 

Kairi instantly chuckled, backing around one corner of the island in the middle of her kitchen. She grabbed the bag of brown sugar and stopped on the other side of the island. "What, huh? Are you scared, Sora?" she asked deviously, a playful tone in her voice.

 

"You're the one who should be scared!" Sora exclaimed, laughing. He grabbed a handful of flour and threw it at Kairi, a few more laughs leaving his lips as he did.

 

Kairi shrieked, turning her head at the last second. She felt the flour hit the side of her face and head, knowing she was covered on that side of her hair and some of her cheek. "Oh-ho-ho," she said, a shocked look on her face as she turned back to Sora. "You're in trouble now!" She grabbed a handful of brown sugar and chucked it at Sora, laughing.

 

Sora ducked just in time, the brown sugar only getting in his hair and not in his face. "We'll see about that!" he laughed, grabbing some more flour and flicking it at Kairi.

 

Kairi laughed, squinting as she felt a few specks of the white powder hit her on her torso and chin. She grabbed more brown sugar and threw it at Sora, knowing she would have to get some other ingredient for revenge.

 

Sora felt the sugar impact his shoulder and he laughed once more. "You're gonna get it!" he cried in warning, suddenly throwing a huge amount of flour at her.

 

Kairi squealed and ducked, feeling only a small amount on her head. She turned around at a dull thunk, her eyes widening when she saw the white substance on her kitchen wall. She stood back up, shocked as she turned to the boy. "Sora!"

 

Sora grinned sheepishly at Kairi's cry. "...Yes?" he responded, a smirk on his face as he playfully glared at the girl across the island.

 

Kairi set the brown sugar down and grabbed a spoon, reaching for the cream butter at the same time. Once the item was in her hand, she narrowed her eyes playfully at her boyfriend. "This means war," she said lowly. She then put a small amount of the butter on the spoon and pulled back on the utensil, flicking it at Sora.

 

Sora's eyes widened and he ducked behind the island, the butter flying over his head. He reached up and grabbed the container of flour without lifting his head, knowing he needed ammunition before he could retaliate.

 

Kairi yelped when Sora ducked, because the butter hit one of the white cupboards behind him. She knew she had to get that off the wall before her mom came home, or she was in trouble.

 

Sora was going to try and pack the flour into a ball, but he knew that was impossible. He shrugged and simply grabbed a cup off the island and scooped some flour into it. With a laugh leaving his lips, he stood up, holding onto the handle and flicking the cup towards Kairi.

 

Kairi turned around with a squeal, feeling the flour hit her back. "Sora!" she cried, holding the butter and spoon in her hands. She started laughing, even though she knew they were making a mess.

 

Sora laughed and stayed standing up, measuring cup still in his right hand. "You asked for it!" he exclaimed with a wide smile. When she had first presented a challenge, that signified that she would be ready for whatever he dished out.

 

Kairi quickly put some of the butter on the spoon at his words. She prepared herself as she smirked, ready to turn to face him. Her chuckles were still heard as she whirled around, immediately flinging the butter at Sora from the spoon.

 

Sora's eyes widened and his naturally-superb reflexes saved him from the butter. He brought up his empty measuring cup and caught the butter inside. And then, in one smooth motion, he flung it back at Kairi, a grin on his lips.

 

Kairi's eyes widened and at the last second she dropped to the floor. "No fair! Not everybody has those kinds of reflexes!" she cried, waving her spoon in the air from behind the island. She really was at a disadvantage here, even if she chose different ammo.
