Fast Food Madness: The Epic Return V2

Roxas felt his grin widen at Namine's attempt to stop him. The grab on the wrist told him it was working, as well as her laughter, but he went a few more seconds with the tickling before stopping completely.

 

Namine's giggled faded once Roxas' tickling stopped, the girl feeling a bit breathless and flustered after that sudden event. She opened her eyes and looked up at Roxas on the couch, cheeks flushed from laughter.

 

Roxas grinned playfully, bright eyes flashing with the presence of the boy he used to be. "See? Bet ya Ty can't do that," he teased, his hands lingering on Namine's sides.

 

Namine replaced her smile with a scowl, her eyes staying on Roxas. "I wouldn't want Ty to do that," she pointed out. Roxas knew from past experience that she hated being tickled, but he always did it for amusement anyway.

 

"Aw, c'mon. You know I love to hear you laugh," Roxas replied softly, his grin dimming into a warm smile. He knew two things about Namine: she didn't like being tickled and she didn't like surprises. But he vaguely remembered doing both to her, and she had been very happy. Roxas didn't see any harm in it.

 

Namine scoffed, shaking her head. "There are other ways to make me laugh besides torturing me like that," she said, looking up at Roxas from behind her bangs. Being with Roxas naturally made her happy, and that in turn made it more likely she'd laugh. But he always chose to tickle her to get her to giggle despite that.

 

Roxas felt his smile slowly vanish at Namine's words, and he took his hands back wordlessly. "Sorry," he said, leaning back to give her some air. It was meant to be all in good fun, but I guess not...

 

Namine smiled, shaking her head. She could tell now that Roxas was being serious, and she hadn't meant to come across like she had. She sat on her knees facing Roxas, so she brought up her arms and then rested her chin on her knees. "Who's being too serious now?" she asked with a small smile, recalling earlier when this whole thing started, Roxas said she was being too serious.

 

Roxas looked down at Namine and felt himself lift his arm to the back of his head, as he usually did when he was shy or nervous. "Uh, well..." he started, but it ended with a small chuckle. Whoops.

 

Namine turned her head on its side, keeping it on her arms as she gazed up at Roxas. "If I remember correctly, you're pretty ticklish, too," she said with a sly smile. She rarely ever tickled him, though, figuring that she could be tickled in return.

 

Roxas froze, eyes widening slightly. "Nuh-uh," he said simply, shaking his head and rejecting the idea. He was actually very ticklish, but it had been a while since he had actually been tickled. The last time Namine did that... He couldn't really remember. She wouldn't.

 

Namine stood herself up, straightening her shirt without thought as she looked at Roxas on the couch. "You sure?" she asked, tilting her head. After a second, she sat herself down beside him, eyes portraying the idea that she believed him when he said he wasn't ticklish. "I thought you were, but..."

 

Roxas let his hand come down to rest against the couch cushion, and he hesitated before looking at Namine. "Actually, I'm ridiculously ticklish," he admitted. He wasn't sure if she would take that as her cue, but he did have a little idea in mind.

 

Namine felt a smirk appear on her lips, the girl having been proved right. "I know." She reached out her hands immediately began ticking Roxas' sides before he could react to her words, a smile staying her lips as she performed the action.

 

Roxas's eyes instantly squeezed shut, the boy trying to wiggle away as he began to chuckle uncontrollably. As surprised as he was that Namine sprung that on him and tricked him, he believed it was fair, but he thought he would make it a little more challenging.

 

Namine heard a few laughs leave her lips, the girl not letting Roxas off the hook that easily. She shifted a little closer to him, continuing to tickle his sides without mercy.

 

"N-no!" Roxas managed through his laughter, feeling his stomach begin to tighten with the lack of oxygen entering his lungs. "S-stop!" he begged playfully, still writhing and trying to squirm away. He had a feeling his plan wasn't going to work out the way things were going. If he could just get free of Namine's grasp, then it would be on.

 

Namine laughed, her giggles mixing with Roxas' chuckles. She heard the playfulness in his tone, so she kept tickling him, but only for a few more seconds. She slowed her tickling to a stop then, knowing that if she were in his position, she would want the tickling to end.

 

Once the tickling slowed, Roxas jumped up from the couch, trying to catch his breath as he smirked at Namine. "You better run, baby! You're in trouble now!" he cried playfully, lifting his hands and wiggling his fingers. That was it. The tickle-torture was on.

 

Namine's eyes widened and she pushed herself off the couch without though, having seen the look in Roxas' eyes just before the words registered. She took two steps back and then made a break for the hallway, knowing her playful boyfriend wouldn't be far behind her.
