It is a good album. I like it at the end of the album when it goes "Now Press Repeat." XD

And yeah they aren't that good live.

Looking at the clip that was pretty good, but previous one's i've seen weren't that great (like them playing the song on the Friday Night Project) but hey bands always sounds better when you are actually there, it's all about the atmosphere.

Well, Darky, I took your advice and listened to their new album and...

it was awful. god awful. I'm sorry but the music was just empty and the lead singer looked old and constipated. FOB should be changed to SOB, because that's what I did when I heard their music. They're so bad. They're not anywhere near epic.

Bands like Guns n' Roses are epic. This is crap. It's the same songs recycled over and over. Except now they get whinier and whinier as the record progresses. And now you don't feel bad for him, you just want to kill him. Also, this guy with the hood who every emo girl thinks is hot looks like a ******. He has black eyeliner and is just eew. I saw him and threw up a little in my mouth.

I'd rather watch gay porn than listen to Fall Out Boy. Wow. I was hoping you were on to something, Darky. But no; they still suck. And they're awful live. It's like a whiny voice is taking an ice pick and slamming it into my ear, puncturing my ear drums and digging into my brain. Then a large man in a trench coat comes and takes a massive drill and revs it up and sticks it in my other ear. Actually, that would be more pleasant than listening to this awful band.

Their drummer basically plays the same beat on every song. Oh, well, there's the occasional switch from hi-hat to snare. I prefer the snare, as it's louder and blocks out the singer's whiney voice. And their new single, "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" has absolutely no energy. It's just some chords and bad vocals and a whiney singer and a bunch of crazy guys.

The bassist just jumps around and basically plays one note over and over. There's no variety in his bass parts apart from the occasional attempt at slap-bass, which sounds like a walrus being stabbed with a massive spear. Then there's the guitarist, who finds in a nice slot in the band playing octaves. How much does he get paid? A billion dollars?

He's worse than Tom DeLonge!

I don't see how the bassist is a figurehead for this band. I'm glad it's not the singer, as he looks like he's a virgin in his 40s. He also looks rather womanly in his scarf and hat. Where did he come from? Poland in the 1960s? I mean, I'm sorry, but a Jewish/Holocaust get-up in this day and age is just offensive.

I think it would be better if a massive plane crashed into into New York and killed everyone and started massive earthquakes all over the world that killed everyone and then Hitler took over and made the Jews go back in the Holocaust than this band to release another CD. Why did God create ths band? Is He not merciful?

Their live performances are just AWFUL. I mean, it's so bad, I can't believe they're even playing live. They should at least attempt to play music, not... whatever it is they're playing. And I think the singer should learn to sing out of his mouth and not his ***. His voice is like "WAAAH! IMA CUT MYSELF TONITE!1" It just makes me cry. I think that I cried over 6 times listening to this CD.

They are bad.

FOB deserves everything Roxas said. they suck ***.

 

I think it is safe to say that this thread is over and we have all come to the conclusion that Fall out Boy is just awful and can't play music worth their lives or anyone else's lives.

Those people are either emo, or just plain idiots that haven't ever listened to good music. Or should i say ever listened to real music

 

im sick of emo music with their emo kid "musicians" wearing their little sisters jeans while whining about stuff no one cares about and then making $239458729 because of it. the only emo bands i like are my chemical romance (and i only like the black parade because it was more rock than emo) and taking back sunday (because they do cool double vocal things)

fall out boy is my least favorite band of all time

the only band that even come close to competing with FOB is panic at the disco. the only reason i dont hate panic more is because they at least put on a respectable live show.

fall out boys "music" is all the same to me, the only song i know instantly when it comes on is "dance dance" because it was in madden NFL 2006 and i played that game nonstop when it came out.

bottom line: fall out boy makes me bleed from the ears and ***

 

I should kill you for that, emo isnt a type of music.
Even if it is FOB isnt part of the genre.

Emo is most definitely a genre. Just because you don't see it in stores marked 'EMO', it doesn't mean it's not a valid genre.

Although, if FoB did have a genre it would be "Horrible", "****", or "Worst Band Ever."

their lyrics dont have much meaning (or at least none that i can see)

their music videos are just ******ed (in their "arms race" video those black people would be beating the **** out of them in reality)

pete wentz is a ****ing ******

and their singer is just like every other emo singer, there is no variety in his vocal styles

and emo is a genre. it used to just stand for emotional or whatever, but it has evolved into a genre where people complain and whine about how they have no balls
